I don't want to to start and come off sounding negative. I have used Broomers at least 8 different times with my 4 different vehicles. I have been impressed and seen they went the extra mile to get you car clean. On this Saturday afternoon they were very busy, and found myself the last one in line. I waited over an hour and half to get my car washed in and out. I have taken my charger at least 3 times to Broomers and never had an issue. This time however they rushed the car, and left the rims filfthy with brake dust. During the dry off , I seen they were skipping cleaning the wheels properly and asked politely if they could get the brake dust off. I was ignored by two of the individuals.. They both could speak and understand english.
After the car was finished and was walking around , I once again asked to have the rims cleaned, they indicated they only clean the outside and do not clean the rims. I returned that the car had been cleaned there at least 3 times and they always got the rims cleaned. The girl then turned and walk away, and I could hear her say " Well that's all I am going to do" and left me standing. I went in to address this with the manager, by this time the dry off crew was already teaming up on her. The manager turned and then asked me if I could stick my hands in to clean the rims. I responeded with a stern Yes, and she tossed me a rag. I went out the door and cleaned my rims as they watched from inside. it took a good 5 minutes more.
I have always tipped well in the past , but drove off with my tip in pocket.
After steaming driving down the road, I remember on the previous visits the drying crew were spanish, and these were American kids. I was very disapointed the management did not address the issue, and the staff was not willing to complete the job properly.
I felt the first car of the day should be treated as well as the last car of the day. Not only did they lose a tip, but also a customer.
