Als sells a good selection of "knock off" irons and woods that are custom made to your specifications. They carry all of the popular imitations at a reasonable price. They are similar to AG Golf in W.S.
This is a place where one can spend a day going into every store and still not hit them all. It contains all of the "mall stores" as well as a cafe square area in the basement.
This mall has everything that one could want for their shopping needs. There is a Sears at one end and a J.C. Pennys at the other end of the mall with a Target in between. A Hoyt Cinema is also in this mall.
The Corner Stone is a good place to rent if you're looking for a place that can hold 150 people and need a kitchen prepare food. I was just at a fundraiser there and the food adequate for chicken and ziti.
The City Line is a tradition Irish pub that has been around for 30+ years. The place is dark inside and like the show Cheers "every knows your name" ----or don't bother coming in. They don't serve food but the Guinness is cold!
Gino's package store is now known as Azon. The new owners did a complete renovation and the place looks great. What use to be a place to buy a six pack and a nip is now offering a good selection of wines and has a bright and attractive interior.
Located directly across from The Big E this store has a very nice selection of wines and at a reasonable price for such a small store. They even offer discounts on the purchase of 6 bottles or more.
As the saying goes "location is everything" And the Oak N Keg is an prime example. Its very close to Congamond Lakes which is a busy summer recreation area. The store has all the staples that you'd expect from a "local" package store. A good place to pick up a casre of Bud but I wouldn't recommend looking for an 05 Owen Roe Cabernet Sauvignon !
Benton liquors is located in a "not so great" section of Springfield and isn't a place I would recommend going to after. I happen to stop in on my way to Wilbraham and needed a bottle of wine. Other than the location their wine selection was actually pretty good and the clerk was knowledgeable.
As a teenager I actually use to work here! The place hasn't changed in 30 years and caters to the neighborhood clientel. Not much of a wine selection and they stock only the popular imported beers. It is a good place to run in and out of for a quick purchase.
