Toreros Mexican Restaurant
When it comes to ethnic foods, one should consider if persons from that ethnicity eat in the establishment. Well...here they do! It is just like Momma made it! Food is great. The portions are large. Even the plates are above average.
The prices are great. A family of four can easily lunch for $15. Dinner costs will be $20-25. Well worth it.
Sweet Tomatoes
Good variety on the buffet. The main salads remain the same. One creates their own to their liking. However, the pastas, soups, desserts and breads vary based upon the season and the current special.
It can be healthy eating but with the buffet-style, it can be easy to overeat!
Good varieties for drinks as well. They have juices and flavored lemonades to choose from.
la Therapie Day Spa
I went here for my first massage. It was so great. I fell asleep on the massage table. The masseuse was splendid. She did such a good job I told her I would pray for her.
A basic massage costs about $50 plus tax. The amenities are nice as well. A clean fluffy robe, lockers for your personal effects, hygiene products within an arms reach, hot/cold teas, fresh fruit, a beautiful facility and other snacks. One can stay as long as you like after the massage just to unwind and to prepare for the life outdoors!
Carrabba's Italian Grill
Good fattening stuff. Prices are moderate. The Pasta Weesie is just wonderful. Portions are more than enough. Two people could share one entree.
Have not tried many of the desserts but the pastas are always good. Have never had issues with unclean seating area or eating utensils. For me, this is key!
Mayflower Seafood Restaurant
I would not eat the big pile of greasy fried previously-frozen and still-frozen upon arrival food.
The portion sizes are heaps and the prices are cheap. But how much should mounds of grease really cost?
K & W Cafeterias
This is always a good place to go for healthy entrees and realistic portion sizes. Prices are always affordable.
Fried food, steamed food, cakes with and without sugar can be found. This is especially good for persons with diet restrictions or are health conscious.
Kid-friendly also.
State Farmers Market
Great place to stroll through on the weekends. The fresh veggies are from local producers and prices are affordable. Lots of free samples to go around.
Cakes, seasoned firewood, freshly baked bread and even a seafood restaurant can be found there.
New World Coffee House
Great lil' hide away in the corner. It is not very big but quaint and comfortable. Bathrooms are also clean, which is a plus.
It has a nice area if you just want to sit back and be comfy. The prices are reasonable and if hunger catches you, there are great healthy options to choose from.
Borders Books & Music
This particular borders is a good place for the eclectic to gather to study, to eat or to play a good game of chess with others.
Staff helpful but could use a few more random comfortable seating throughout the store.
