Brookdale 8 Discount Theatre
Second run movies (those that have played out at that big box theaters) are shown here at discounted prices. If you can get past the sticky floor, the sometimes rude teenages behind the counters than it's a good deal.

LEGO Imagination Center
Everytime we visit MOA, we stop by Lego Land just to have some fun. Yes, I still enjoy playing with Lego's and I really find it interesting how kids are playing with the today. They have such a wide variety of shapes, and motor. And for the more advanced builders there is the robotic sets to really test you building and programming skills. Great fun for all.

Sun Post
If you really want to know what is going on in your neighborhood, take a look at the Sun Post. Their staff of reports cover all the local cities, high school sports events and local businesses. A really great local paper.

New Kings Buffet
At first glance the front of the store looked like it was part of the tire place and we almost didn't stop. But we were extremely surprised and happy that we did. Their buffet items don't sit long under the warming lamps as this place is constantly busy. They even have a huge mongolian grill towards the back of the restaurant with all types of "fixings" to create your own dish. Definitely another visit is in order.

Cheapo Discs
A large cup of coffee, a canvas bag and I'm off to Cheapo's for the day. As you flip through the rows upon rows of CDs and Movies, you're sure to find a collection that will definitely bring back memories. Secret is, don't go in looking for something particular, half the fun is the hunt.

New Hope Fuel & Wash
This is a really small convenience store with a car wash. Their gas prices are 8 times out of 10 higher than other stations in the area. Their convenience items are overly priced and the car wash doesn't do at a minimum a decent job. I'll by pass this place and visit the Holiday across the highway.

Crystal Carwash Ctr
Looking for a better than average clean fast, the folks at Crystal Carwash Center did a wonderful job. I chose the "Express" wash and still they still vaccummed out my car, ran it through the wash and hand dried it. Be careful if you have exterior radio antennas as their brushes can bend and rip them off for which they are not responsible.

Valley Fair
There are some really ripping wild roller coaster at Valley Fair, Steel Venom, Wild Thing, PowerTower and my favorite Chaos. Rides are based on height restrictions but they have rides available for all age groups. Though they recently raised their prices to where it might be out of reach for most families.

Harvest Moon Restaurant
While attending a family reunion we decided to venture into Harvest Moon. This restuarant has been around for years (back when I was growing up here). The buffet is rather small, but the food is very delicious. We'll probably go back on our next visit

A C Carlson Brand Source
A C Carlson's has been in the Crystal/New Hope are for years. They offer a great selection of brand name appliances. We needed a new washer and dryer set, walked in, picked what we wanted, and it was delivered later that day. Top notch orgainization.
