Precision Tune
This review is for the Capital Hill Precision Tune
Was re-building my 63 t-bird. Asked them to look at the breaks. They gave me a report that said "breaks are brand new which is why they are so tight on the peddle." Charged me $35 for this diagnosis. On the way home, ALL breaks gave out. I had to do an emergency pull over on the highway. Towed the car to a different mechanic. No breaks whatsoever. Precision didn't even crack open a wheel. There was no break fluid and all four wheels had cracks on the breaking system. They were all shot. Took pictures of the breaks, saved all the old break parts, and contemplated suing them, but haven't done so yet.
Before this incident, I also had them put a new timing belt in my honda. They forgot to tighten the bolts and now there are all kinds of damage to my water pump and timing belt. I'm shelling out another $800 to a different mechanic to fix all these problems that was caused by Precision's poor work.
$800 is disappointing to pay to fix their mistake, but I'm glad I didn't lose my life with the t-bird!
