Taqueria Zapata
Taqueria Zapata is one of my favorites. It is conveniently located on 18th Street in the Castro. It is always busy. Food is great value, fresh, and tasty. Their Aguas Frescas are very good. I highly recommend Taqueria Zapata.
El Toro Taqueria
Taqueria El Toro is truly one of my favorites. The food is inexpensive, great value, tasty and fresh... The place can get packed often. Parking can be hard, but it's the Mission... I highly recommend El Toro...
Chava's Restaurant
Chavas is my favorite. The experience is like being in Mexico. The location is well decorated, the food is very authentic, super portions, and the prices are a great value. Their sopa albondicas and sopa siete mares are really good. If you are looking for a stuffy upscale experience this is not your place. Breakfasts are amazing, and the hand made tortillas are a treat! I highly recommend Chavas
Orale Orale
It can be hard to get in, especially during lunch, but it is worth it. The food is really good, fresh. Prices are very good. I highly recommend Orale Orale.
Buena Vista Cafe
This is a great cafe! The famous IRISH COFFEE is truly as good as everyone has said. Service id fast and friendly, reasonably prices, great view, fun, and highly recommended...
Sushi Hunter
This is the greatest sushi restaurant in the city!!! It far exceeds expectations. Their all you can eat sushi is fantastic. You are given a menu of over 50 items and for one price you can have as much as you like. The food is delicious and FRESH, as well as presented nicely! The decor is Great! The staff quick and friendly. The place is just the right size. Prices are great. The only downfall is that parking can be difficult!!! Although, it is totally worth it. I recommend Sushi Hunter above all other sushi restaurants.
Ocean Park Motel
I stumbled upon the Ocean Park Motel by accident, and am so very glad I did... Do not let the word MOTEL turn you off. This is the greatest, cleanest, most well kept, and best hotel/motel value I have found in San Francisco. The property is quite something, it was the first motor hotel in San Francisco. The rooms are immaculate, and very well equipped. The landscaping is phenomenal, and so well kept. The property is pet friendly, and is steps to Ocean Beach. I recommend the Ocean Beach Motel to all my friends who come to San Francisco to see me. I love it!!!
