The reception desk is very nice however they are not who I am paying to see. Maria Gorgona, MD was very rude during my visit. I came to the office with severe arm pain. I explained that we had been doing a lot of work on our house and that I fear I might have hurt my arm during that time. Her comment to me was "common sense isn't as common as it used to be". Omg. I just told her what I thought I did to my arm, and that I was concerned that I might have torn something. And that is what she had to say! It gets worse. I then said that I know I need to rest my arm, but that I have a 65 lb son in a wheelchair and if she had any advice on the best way of lifting him without hurting my arm more. Then she said as she rolled her eyes " I say again, commone sense isn't as common as it used to be". I will never be going back to that office. They are of no use and that doc needs a good lesson in how to be a human being, much less a doctor! And yes I will tell everyone I know.
Our thoughts and prayers, from myself and the entire Quig family, are with you during these difficult times. I was horrified to here the news yesterday! However, I am very happy to hear that no one was hurt. You are a wonderful family, and I miss seeing you at the orchard conventions. I hope you guys can pull through this. As if farming isn't hard enough as it is! Hang in there, and know we are thinking about you.
