Blue Benn
Another of Vermonts well known 50's style family diners. The Blue Benn is usually quite busy. We have eaten here on several occassions and enjoyed our meals. The food is plentiful, homecooked and served up quickly. Great staff. Convenient location.
Precision Valley Corvette Museum
The 50's style diner is a fun place to stop with your family. Great food, quick service. Small rail car type diner. Several booths and a counter with stools, just like the movies! Fun photos to look at while waiting for your food. We've stopped here a couple of times while in the area for sporting events.
Harrison Vending Co.
We have been using Harrison for a while now at our place of work. At first the machines were filled regularly with fresh, healthy foods. As time went on the prices increased and the food was not changed out as frequently. I stopped buying from the vending machines and started bringing food in because of too many stale purchases. Not a happy camper with this vending service.
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters
We have Green mountain coffee at our work place and this is the only kind I will pick up at the quick stops. You can find it pretty much anywhere in New England now. Great flavor for the regular coffee and every more amazing chioces in their flavored coffees. Seasonal flavors like pumpkin spice are quite good. Try some soon!
Christ The King Parish
This is one of three catholic parishes in the small city of Rutland. I would say that it has the largest following. The priests are wonderful people. The church itself is a beautiful marble structure. Mass schedules are at convenient times. They have a children's mass that is focused on the schoolage members of the parish. Many helpful seminars and classes are held for the membership as well. Just a really warm and inviting family parish.
Tozier's Restaurant
Toziers is a family style diner that has been around for years. Stop into the dining room or step up to the take out window. Great food, fast service. Very clean. You have to try the sweet potatoe fries. They are quite good. Great ice cream selection to top off your meal.
Al's French Fries
Al's goes way back for me and my husband. There used to be a couple of these diners around when we were growing up. Had free cone days in the summer. Now the one on Williston road is the only one left in the area. We always stop in when visiting our daughter at St Mikes. They still have the best fries anywhere!! The menu has expanded over the years, but they have always been the best place for fries and a burger. Great supporter of youth sports too, so support them.
Crossway Saab
We stopped here to check out the inventory of used saabs in our hunt for just the right one. They had a pretty good selection from which to choose, but the prices were slightly higher than we were willing top pay. They stood firm on the sticker price, so we went elsewhere to buy.
Nassau Inn
Made arrangements for a family member to stay at this Inn while in Princeton. She was very pleased with the accommodations. Very classy place. Clean and comfortable rooms. Helpful staff. Had a great stay at a place very conveniently located for her needs while in the area.
Olympic Limousine Svc
I have used this transportation service recently for a family member. I was very pleased with the helpful and courteous service received. When the flight was delayed and late arriving at its destination, I was worried about the connection with the limo service. One phone call reassured me that the driver would be there and looking for my family member and bring them to their destination at no extra charge for the late arrival. Price was very reasonable.
