Although the merchandise they had was of good quality, I was misled by the ads and information that I had seen about the store. One would think "warehouse" would mean a large inventory in a big building. Not the case here, fairly average size store an not a large inventory. Prices were a bit higher than I anticipated as well.
Stopped in here with my daughter when she relocated to the area. Found a number of things that she was hunting for. Great selection and prices were reasonable.
My daughter attended this camp for several years and was invited back as a counselor. She learned great basketball skills, made lasting friendships both with campers and counselors. The owner of this camp keeps in touch with his campers and follows their progress. He makes it a point to attend their games whenever possible. I can't say enough about the people and the experience that they provide.
I have taken clothes to put on consignment at Miss Ellies Emporium. They have a very mixed clientele so she takes a little of everything. I have had good luck selling items here.
Christopher & Banks in the Diamond Run Mall is a casual women's wear store. The quality of clothing is very good. The styles are trendy and fun. Price points are reasonable for the quality of the product. Staff is friendly and the store is easy to shop, not too crowded with merchandise.
Nusantara is a fun place to find interesting garments. The scarves that they have are elegant. The fabrics unique. The only downfall to this place is the hours. They have funky hours and aren't always open when you might think they would be.
This is an interesting store to stop in when at the Diamond Run Mall in Rutland. They have an eclectic mix of inventory. Interesting jewelry, funky t-shirts, hippy skirts and pheasant tops. Posters galore.
A good place to find trendy inexpensive clothing. The store is usually well stocked and the clerks friendly. A bit crowded though. This is not a place to find long lasting staples for your wardrobe. Just fun comfy clothing.
If you are in south central Vermont during the month of August, you must stop in at this East Dorset farm on Route 7 for this horse show. You can't miss the multitude of tents for stables, RV's and horse trailers. There are several riding arenas where top flight riders and their mounts show what it takes to be an international competitor. Just an amazing show to take in and runs for several weeks. The accommodations appear to be first rate. It's incredible the prize money that they walk away with! Truely a fun family event to watch.
The Manchester Country Store is on Main street and easy to find. Parking is a challenge though. Worth your time to stop in. Takes you back in time. Lots of gadgets and trinkets from yesteryear. We found some penny candy that I didn't think existed anymore (razzles). Fun stuff!
