Cashmans Photo Magic
Some friends and I stumbled upon this place and we just had a hoot! This place takes a photo of your face and places it on bodies of whatever you choose. It makes a great funny event with friends. Definitely recommend.
Red Light Clothing Exchange
ok, this place definitely holds alot of vintage clothing, however, the clouds of dust is too overwhelming. A friend and I spent a few minutes in there and both of us immediately felt allergies coming on. It made it very difficult to have fun going through all the vintage clothing.
Thai-ger Room
I have to admit the Thai-ger Room interior isn't the most pleasing, BUT they have some pretty good food. The pad thai is pretty good here and the eggplant dish, but other than that, none of the other dishes seem to wow my tastebuds. But its definitely worth a try.
Big Time Brewery & Alehouse
This is a great pub/brewery. On the weekends it can get packed with people. They serve some pretty good beer and they have an awesome shuffleboard that is the popular pass time game there. I love the classic setting!
Flowers Bar & Restaurant
This is probably one of the few restaurants on the ave. that is roomy and comfortable. It is a great hangout spot to dine with friends and such. However, the food is limiting. I thought the food was okay, but my boyfriend at the time didn't like the food selections. It may not be a good food choice for a first date.
Ray's Boathouse
This place has amazing seafood! You gotta try their calamari, it is the best calamari I have ever tasted in my entire life. I love seafood, and this is definitely one of my favorite seafood restaurants!
Daniels Broiler
On the 21st floor, this restaurant paves way for a romantic evening with a loved one. The service was wonderful and the food was a delight. If you seek a nice candlelit dinner, this is a winner!
University Noodle Shop
Hands down this place has really really good food. Even there fried rice is to die for. I don't know how they make their food, but I haven't been able to find any asian restaurants that compare to this place. It isn't the nicest restaurant aesthetically, but the food is well worth it!
Uwajimaya Incorporated
This is a great one-stop place for Asian food/items. Its clean, its organized, and its filled with things I need! Its also a great place to dine! I love shopping here and I haven't seen any other asian market as good as this one!
Thai Tom
This place seems to be pretty popular. They do have some pretty good dishes but its not as good to me as everyone seems to rave about. I'm pretty particular about thai food since my mother is from Thailand. And I didn't quite get the "wow" factore. But nevertheless its still pretty good.
