I run up to Pasticceria just for the home made rolls. My son LOVES them so much. The prepackaged dinners and soups are a wonderful way to taste lots of homemade cooling without being home to make it!!Their staff is polite, friendly and courteous, It's a family business which I like to support. Yummies galore.
We often use Choice Health in Westfield for our homeopathic buying. When my mother in law was diagnosed with breast cancer, this lovely owner went out of her way to spend some time with me working out an individualized plan of care that would suit her needs. She even referred me elsewhere for a product she had used but was unable to offer. Today, thanks to God, my mother in law is cancer free.
Last week, my sister and I stopped in to the Coffee PAuse to buy some coffee for her new machine. The people there could not have been more accommodating. They do not have any fancy facilities for customers stopping in but they bring you right back into the break room and invite you to ask any questions and place your order--they fill it immediately. They were so friendly and helpful--very patient too with my sister's myriad of coffee questions. Oh! and Their coffee is terrific too. I was a little disappointed they never offered us a cup while there.
Jane Barrientos is a smiling face you will never forget. She has a very sweet, unassuming personality style which will make you immediately feel at ease with her as a teacher and person in general. I have seen her art and some of the work of her art students and it is impressive. She is an all around teacher type. The key is that Jane LOVES art and what she does. She can pass that on to your student I have no doubt.
This is a really fun place to bring the family for some golfing fun. We like to shoot buckets long range. It's not too expensive and lots of fun. My son loves getting away for some Golf at Fenway. The sell really good snacks too!
My son has just finished classes at Responsible Driver Auto School in Westfield. Although the price has doubled since 1.5 years ago when my daughter attended, theirs is still the best price around with their pay cash up front discount offer of $675. This includes classes and the newly required 12 hours of driving. My son handily passed his written test and appears to have learned a lot. The man teaching, Tom Sgroi, stuck to the lessons at hand and was very nice to work with.
The OLSH was the spot for a tragic family funeral a few years back--a young cousin was killed in a car accident. The church staff was so very kind and caring to her mother and family. The building itself is in remarkable condition for its age. I give them a lot of credit for continuing to serve the community with a parochial school and other outreaches during such a tumultuous time for the Catholic church.
I tried to have my hair done here on an "open to the public day" and it never worked out. The lady at the desk was plain rude. The wait was over an hour before I finally broke down and left to pay twice as much somewhere else. IT was worth it.
Our daughter took her lessons here not too long ago and we are very happy with the results. She is a safe and responsible driver. She was kept on an efficient schedule of lessons but was also dealt with pleasantly when she needed to reschedule. At the time, they offered the least expensive package as well. One teacher who shall be nameless here, needs to stick to teaching about driving and not her liberal political propaganda.
I received my Associate Degree in Nursing from STCC and have never regretted it. Many doors of career opportunity have been open for me as a registered nurse. My STCC degree has been well recognized and respected. The price was excellent and affordable and I have found myself to be very well prepared as a nurse through my education at STCC school of Nursing.
