Dr. Kalish handled my twin pregnancy well. She was a good doctor and it was nice that since she was a high risk doc she could measure the length of my cervix and I did not have to go to another office to have this done. I definitely felt in good hands. The one complaint I had was after I delivered I was in desperate need of a blood transfusion and she did not push me in that direction. Instead the doctor who delivered me encouraged me to do so. The transfusion helped me recover, breastfeed and just feel better overall. He might have had more experience with new mothers because he had 4 kids. I was hesitant about a blood transfusion at first and she just echoed my hesitation instead of giving me sound medical advice. I think the best advice for pregnant moms is to know as much as possible about the process so you know the right questions to ask.
