Michael's Restaurant & Lounge
A small family restaurant with good food and service. We often stop here at lunch time, they have great homemade soup and specials. Their pasta is awesome.
Linden Grove
This was a place that our children in their teens went to for friday night dances. Today people in their retirement go there to dine and dance. The food is good and service is fine. A nice place to spend some time.
Duke's Station Ltd
I have a feeling this is a place for the younger crowd. When we go for lunch or dinner they always seem empty. The ribs are delicious but I have order some things I won't order twice. The interesting thing is the dining room is actually a railroad dining car.
Brass Rail
this place was wonderful a couple years ago they have changed hands and lost their food quality. They are slowing improving and are getting a little better. The service is poor and the food is adequate. If you want dinner and don't want to wait in a line go around 4:30 and you will find something that is okay. It's just not great.
Point View Hotel
The Point View was and is a historical building that should be saved. Presidents stayed there and it was a stop on the underground railroad for many years. It had decent food and was a great neighborhood hangout for many years. It is closed now and rumor has it it will be torn down.
Garden Bar & Lounge
This is a little neighborhood bar and restaurant with good fish on friday. They have specials each day and their food is fresh and tasty. There is more parking in the back then you realize so it sometimes looks more crowded than it really is.
Olde Place
To enter you must go through the bar. Not a great place for families. The food is good and the service is okay. They have a ceiling that has lights to make it look like it is star lite. A little different. The entrance is a little difficult if you have mobility problems.
South Hills Family Medicine
Very accommodating office. They have physicians assistants that are amazing and caring. The doctors all seem very responsive. We lost my mother recently and they were very compassionate. They connected us to a hospice program but still stuck with us and supported the whole family. I was very impressed.
Bowser Pontiac Buick Gmc Inc
We bought a used Buick from this dealership. The sales people weren't obnoxious and the price wasn't too bad. We all know they made a profit but I didn't feel abused when we pulled out. The car has run nicely since we got it. The service department is another story. I am not impressed with it at all. We went there once, then found a mechanic to handle out maintenance.

Sturman & Larkin Ford Incorporated
We bought a full sized van from this dealer. There is a recall on the cruise control. They never seem to have the replacement part. Their solution is to disconnect the cruise so every trip we go on it is a problem. I am really getting annoyed. BUT I haven't found any options.
