Hodgie's Ice Cream
This place is about an hour from my house, but well worth the drive! I usually only get "1 Scoop" - maybe 2, but that is more than enough! It is all homemade and just great!
Ricardo's Ristorante
This is "off the beaten path" in the North End, but well worth the extra few feet to get there. The food is excellent and the prices are fair. It is a smaller restaurant. Good Service.
Crestview Banquet & Meeting
I had my wedding reception here in August of 2006, and I couldn't have been happier. They had great rates and everything was included! From the planning stages until the last guest left, everything was perfect. They were helpful and kind. The only thing I didn't like was that the night had to end! We had so much fun. Everyone said the food was great. I HIGHLY recommend you have your reception here too!
Musto Jewelers
My mom had a Cross custom made for me out of my grandmothers wedding band. They did a beautiful job! I didn't even know you could do something like that. They are very kind and friendly.
Amazing Cakes
These cakes ARE truly amazing! They are both beautiful and delicious! Christine does great work.

Shaughnessy Kaplan Rehab Hospital
This is a great place to go for rehab. The staff really cares about the patients, and they will work hard to get you back home. The 5th floor staff is especially great!
Fractured Prune Doughnut Shop
I did not go to this particular location, but I did go to the one in Rockville, MD as well as Elizabethtown, PA. We found it by accident!!! But we are so glad we did. The donuts were FANTASTIC! Like nothing we ever had before. They are hot and so yummy! I love how you can make your own up too!
Roma's Bakery
If you want fresh Italian Scail bread this is the place to go. Be prepared to wait during the holidays! The other baked goods are okay - not my fav, but you can't beat the bread - sliced for toast or sandwiches, or unsliced when making dinner.
The Salter School
This is a GREAT place to get a massage - the first time you go it is $25, after that it is only $20. You are in a room with two beds, but a curtain between you - I have always been alone however. They are students, but they do great work.
Kane's Doughnut House
I thought I only liked Krispy Cream honey dipped anymore, but then I got one from Kane's WOW is all I can say! I also LOVE their coffee rolls! I warmed it up and but butter on it too - FANTASTIC!
