I've used City Cleaners for many years. It's a small, locally owned shop with a bell above the door. When you walk in someone is at the counter immediately. They still write up your slips on paper! They have old pictures and newspaper clippings of Westfield, which is quaint. The clothes come back clean, quickly, and reasonably priced. What more could you want.
Footbeats is a good place to get quality shoes for children. They take their time fitting the kids, and are very knowledgeable about how their brands run for sizes, widths, etc. Sales staff are very helpful. However, I only buy on sale at this store - regular prices a bit high for me!
I like Christmas Tree Shops for finding nice decorations for my home for holidays. They have a lot of unusual things for holidays like Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, 4th of July, etc., as well as Christmas! Most times when I go to this store it is very crowded and it's usually a bit of a wait at the cash registers. Also, the temperature is too hot in this store. But the merchandise is unique and reasonably priced.
This place is great. You bring your car in dirty and get it back brand new. They vacuum the inside, clean the interior, shampoo the carpets, clean the windows, buff and wax the exterior of the car, de-grease the motor and dress the tires. Great communication, drop off and pick up same day. Estimate about a week wait for an appointment because they are busy all the time. This is a great gift idea for valentines day!
Hillside Auto Body is a family run business for years and years. They are honest to deal with--a family with integrity. High Class work, they never rush a job to get it out by a deadline-they make sure the work is high quality. Jobs are finished in a timely manner. Excellent color matching. They handle all the insurance details.
You can't complain about a $4.00 car wash! The car comes out clean with no effort on your part. Plus the vacuum cleaners are free. I stop every couple of weeks in the winter. It's convenient and a great deal!
Oliver Auto Body does frame work and alignments, suspension work, as well as auto body work. My husband used to send cars there when he was manager of a car dealer's auto body shop for frame work. They have a large facility, friendly office staff, prices are going rates.
Sleich does a lot of painting of large vehicles, as well as cars and trucks. My husband had a large truck(24'long x 10' high)painted. They took it in, prepped it, repaired some minor damage on the sides, sandblasted the wheels and bumpers, changed the color from white to blue, and arranged to have the rear bumper replaced with a custom diamond plate step bumper. The truck took one week to complete and came out great.
When my husband was the manager of a car dealer's auto body shop he dealt with Arbella often. He worked with Randy, who is a licensed appraiser for Arbella. He came to the shop in a timely manner to look at jobs. Followed up on supplements quickly. He was easy to negotiate with. Never had a problem.
I used to do business with TKO and I found the girls in the office to be very friendly. What I didn't like was that you were never recognized when you went there. No one ever called me with friendly reminders for renewals, etc. Everything was strictly by mail, which wasn't so personal. I didn't like that they wanted a yearly fee that had nothing to do with your insurance. It was a fee to cover offices costs like copying, etc. There are better companies out there.
