Best Little Hairhouse
I have gone here for several normal trims as well as a few important ocassions (such as proms and balls). The service is very friendly and attentive to special requests. I have always been satisfied with the results of my haircuts, though updos I may recommend going somewhere a bit more high-end to ensure you will be happy on such an important night (though you will obviously then have to deal with higher prices, too).

Center For Women's Health
I have been going to this OBGYN for several years now and have never had any problems with scheduling an appointment, waiting for long period of time in the waiting room, or getting correct prescriptions. Many offices of different types of doctors are located within this area, so its extremely convenient for those who may want to schedule several appointments with different doctors on the same day. Highly recommended.

Goldberg's Famous Bagels
Located directly across from the Westwood train and bus stations, this place is a favorite of daily commuters. Their bagels are very good, and cheaper than the other nearby favorite (Ronnie's in Hillsdale). Located right within the popular downtown shopping area of the town, this place is definitely worth trying!

Big Jim's Pizzeria
I love this pizza place and go out of my way to go there since its a little far from my house. Service is good, and food is worth the couple extra bucks you may spend at another area pizzeria. Their delivery service is usually quite prompt as well, though they do tend to be busy on a regular basis.

Ridge Diner
My absolute favorite diner. A favorite during high school, and continues to be during my college years. Many local kids go there, as well as adults and elderly people. The food is great, and the service is so nice. Prices are low compared to the quality of the food (as some other diners in the area are known to serve food of pretty bad quality). Late hours, especially on weekends. I will always love this place!

Vale Cleaners
Friendly service and reasonable prices. Very conveniently located. Even a cute dog running around! My garments were ready when they said they would be. Highly recommended.

Joanne's Nails
The manicurists of Joanne's do a very nice job. I have received both a manicure and a pedicure from this nail salon and have been satisfied both times. I have friends that have received their other services (tips, waxing, etc.) and have never head anything but satisfied results. They are always very busy, so make sure you make an appointment! Service is very friendly and professional.

Badlands Tacos
Badlands is appealing to people of all ages. The food is freshly prepared, and can be taken out or eaten in. You order at the counter, not from a waiter, and wait until your number is called to pick up your food. There are both tables and a bar area overlooking the glorious street that is Kinderkamack Road. I have never been disappointed here, though I usually stick with my normal chicken quesadilla. Their brownies are also very delicious!

Peppercorns
I usually attend this restaurant with my grandparents, who enjoy it for its friendly service, daily specials and quieter atmosphere. While there is a bar on the far side of the building, the dining area is seperated completely. The service is always very nice and attentive. The food is very good and the daily specials bring something comletley new every time we go there. Overall I would recommend this place to others.

Dominator Pizza
Any college kid in the area knows the name "Dominator Pizza," and the famous delivery man who comes to campus to sell students pizza for $5. Obviously, this pizza is not of the best quality, but for hungry college kids returning from late night Saturday parties, it is well worth the price. If you are looking for a pizza for your family, look elsewhere. However, for college kids on a budget, this option is perfect!
