Woodland Park Zoo

i live in the greenlake neighborhood and always loved going to the zoo! even as an adult i still like walking through the zoo on a nice day. they have done a lot of remodeling to make the living environments better for the animals and more enjoyable for the visitors.

coldstone is a lot like mix, however they don't have frozen yogurt options for those that don't need the extra calories but love ice cream. they also have very complex ice cream flavors and combinations that i think are a little overwhelming and can interfere with the taste of the mix ins. it is a little overpriced for my liking as well.

i love coming to the red door with friends to get a drink at night. the crowd is always lively and the drink and food selections are great. they have good happy hour prices on food. i always have a great time.

if you are a vegan and have a craving for donuts, go to mighty o dunuts! they are really good and have a great selection. the employees are really nice and friendly.

i really like this little coffee shop. i recommend their chai tea. they also have amazing quiches. the service is very efficient. it is a great neighborhood coffee shop.

Krittika Noodles & Thai Cuisine

Krittika has amazing thai food. i have had great pad thai and curry here. the service is great and very fast. you can get food to go as well, but they do not deliver. the price is reasonable and you get a good sized portion. i would recommend sharing dishes when you go with others.

pagliacci is great pizza. i like having a location on the ave close to the UW campus. the pizza is great for the price and it is my favorite pizza in seattle!

brookstone carries all the creative things you can do with technology. from massaging chairs to alarm clocks that display the time in mid air. i can easily spend a ton of time in the store browsing all the cool gadgets they have. things can be a bit pricey, but very worth it.

this store is great for funky, funny, hip knick knacks and gifts. they have great jewelry. i went in and got this amazing necklace for under $10 (it was on sale, which proves they have great sales). i have never walked out of the store empty handed.

Atlas Foods

Seattle, WA Supermarkets - Seattle, WA Restaurants | 01/23/08: 'nice dining experience'

atlas has a wide range of dishes that are all very tasty. i recommend going for lunch, however you also can't go wrong with dinner, there may just be more of a wait. i highly recommend the berry cobbler, however you must order it when you order your dinner for they are prepared individually and need time to bake.
