Coast Auto Body
I am looking to get my car fixed, the backside is damaged in an accident. Coast Auto Body is recommended by my insurance.
However, back in 2004, when the back bumper was broken, Coast Auto Body gave a quote of $2000+ and said it requires new bumper. Just to double check I took it to a mechanic recommended by a friend to check if it really requires new bumper. To my surprise, the mechanic said the bumper is not broken, only the screws holding it has come off when I backed into a pole in my parking lot. He just pushed the bumper back and screwed it back in 2 minutes and didn't even charge me a cent. I don't know anything about cars, he could have cheated me, but he didn't.
So I would not go take my car again to coast auto body shop even if the other party is paying for the damage. It is there hard earned money, why throw it away on these people.
