Martin's is a long time favorite to many Cobb citizens. Here you can enjoy a big country breakfast or just a sausage biscuit. They serve delicious hamburgers , hot dogs , and other sandwiches. Grab a sweet tea and you are good to go.
My father -in- law drove an 18 wheeler for 40 years. He gave the Iron Skillet a thumbs up. They have a great breakfast bar ; actually there is a buffet for every meal. You can also order from the menu.Whether you are looking for breakfast , a meat and three , or a steak , the Iron Skillet has it for you.
The Colonnade has been around for many years. Generations of Atlantans have been going there for good Southern cooking. The wait can be long at times , but you will forget that as you enjoy a classic Southern meal.
My husband and I had lunch here last summer while we were on a business trip. It was one of our best meals. We had eaten lots of seafood (all delicious) , but we were ready for a home cooked meal. We found it here. Great Southern comfort food .
We discovered el Nopal while our daughter was playing in a local soccer tournament. Our first meal there was dinner , and we were very pleased with our food, The service was swift and attentive. We have been back several times since then. The food is as good as ever. There can be big weekend crowds.
People come from far and near to eat at the Pink Pig. Don't be surprised if you have to wait in line to get in ; this restaurant is that popular. The food is delicious ; the barbecue pork is awsome. You can get a sandwich and a side or you can go for a platter. All are super. You can also pay your last respects at the Pig Cemetary.
Jim Shaw's has long been one of the best seafood establishments in Macon. You can count on fresh and cooked to order food. You have the choice of eating in the dining area or a separate bar area.
Fincher's Barbecue is a Middle Georgia favorite. Their chopped pork is out of this world.; they also make a pretty good Brunswick Stew. My family stops by as often as we can . It is so easy to grab a bag of sandwiches and a couple of sides , Dinner is served !
My husband , son and I had the most lovely Sunday lunch at R.J.s recently. The buffet was laden with delicious salads , meats , vegetables , and desserts. The wait staff is attentive , and my husband was not without plenty of sweet tea. We will definitely visit again !
While visiting our son at GA Southern , we had dinner at the Ocean Galley one night. We arrived about 8:45 and were promptly seated. Our order was taken and when the food arrived , it did not appear or taste cooked to order. It was not hot ; we wondered if we came too late to get freshly cooked fish. The service was great , and it was apparent that many diners were regulars. We'll give it one more try next visit !
