33 Steaks Booze & Jazz

Chico, CA Steakhouses 01/24/08: 'A favorite!'

With dueling pianos and jazz, this little hidden gem is one of Chico's finest!

Meals are good sized, excellent value.

Martini's are world-class, try the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre or the Oatmeal Cookie!

Excellent service and great selection. A grown up "Panamas" with an excellent dining experience!

Starbucks

Chico, CA Coffee Shops and Diners 01/24/08: 'True community coffee'

People always tell me how I should support local coffee shops. I did for quite a while, then I saw changes. New people would come and go and the community feeling they once had was gone. I started going to Starbucks about 2 years ago instead of my usual local shop, they were immediately helpful, friendly, and within two times, they knew my name without asking and they knew my drink. They also donate so much of their time and products to local non-profits and other organizations. The coffees there are wonderful, and they truly know how to make a good Misto! (Cafe Ole) Thanks Starbucks for all you do and thanks to Kelly especially for hooking me up with some good business contacts!

Cookie Shoppe

Chico, CA Bakers & Bakeries 01/24/08: 'My clients LOVE this stuff!'

Each time I go into the Cookie Shoppe to buy a dozen cookies for my clients, I cannot help but get one or two extras! The Ranger is my favorite cookie, my wife likes the coconut chocolate chip spice. Mike is wonderful, true small town hospitality and the crew there has been nothing but very friendly and professional. Get a dozen cookies for your family, friends, or clients, and watch their faces light up! Thanks Cookie Shoppe for all of the smiles you bring to my customers and helping me through those "difficult" days!
