I've been getting my water from The Water Lady for quite some time. The water is really good and the prices are reasonable. They offer volume discounts. Friendly service as well.
Broadway Pizza
Broadway Pizza offers a wide range of choices in Italian-American food. The portions are generous, but, unfortunately, the quality has dropped. Their pizza use to be great, and now it's just mediocre, with low-grade mozzarella and not-so-great optional deli-meat toppings. Inexpensive.
Gaslamp Pizza
Gaslamp Pizza's pizza is excellent. They have an awesome BBQ Chicken Pizza, great Hot Wings and terrific service. The pizza is always fresh and hot with lots of cheese. If you're a pizza lover, you should try them!
Black Angus Steakhouse
I've been to Black Angus a few times and they have done a great job cooking my steak just as I like it. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is much like any other steak house.
Definitely worth going to.
Roberto's Taco Shop
I got the California Burrito, which is one of my favorite things to get at any taco shop. All it had was french fries, meat and cheese. Nothing else... no sour cream, no tomatoes, nothing. As such, it was very dry and did not taste good.
Of course, it may have just been a bad day, or maybe a new cook, but my first impression was not good.
Tio Leo's Mexican Restaurant
I've been here a couple of times and they are always busy. It's no wonder why, since they have such good food.
I really enjoyed the Carnitas Rice bowl. It comes with rice, pico de gallo, avacado, black beans, and cheese. It's very good and I always have a lot left over.
The prices are very reasonable as well.
Taste of Szechuan
A lot of chinese restaurants have Orange Chicken on their menu, and a lot of the dishes come out soggy. Taste of Szechaun has great Orange Chicken, which is nice and crispy, just like it should be. Their Wonton soup is really good too. The service is also fast.
Old World Restaurant & Deli
This is a kosher deli and I've had a few different sandwiches here, and loved every one of them. If you like Reuben sandwiches, you will love Old World's. The service is great and they make you feel right at home. The sandwiches are priced from around $6-$9, so pretty average.
Colima's Mexican Food
One of my favorite places to get a California Burrito. The burrito is huge and I can rarely finish a whole one. It's always fresh and hot whenever I order. And the prices are good as well.
Lotsa Pasta
I've been to Lotsa Pasta a couple of times and got the Sausage Lasagna both times... it was so good, I just couldn't pass it up the second time around.They have a huge selection on the menu. You can choose your type of pasta, meat and sauce and create your own dish, or you can order one of theirs. The price is pretty average as well.
