Loehmann's has many locations (even in other cities) but this one was a little tired. The merchandise seemed old (as it it had been from several seasons ago).
Century 21
OK - I admit that perhaps there could be good bargains here. Unfortunately I couldn't find any. There were way too many people and there were clothes and purses everywhere. It looked like a tornado had hit and you were picking through the rubble.
Key Lime Pie Salon & Wellness
Whenever I see "Salon and Spa" I usually get leery because a Spa should be serene at all times. Key Lime Pie has mastered this concept because the spa is very separate. The concern is the service can sometime be inconsistent. The therapists are good but the front desk is not always knowledgeable and responsive. For the prices, you would expect more.
Blackstone - Seafood & Steak Restaurant
The key to really enjoying Blackstone is to get the excellent value by going for the early bird special. It has a limited menu but they offer their awesome steaks and their yummy desserts.
Vinings Grill Inc
This place looks interesting from the outside and always has some good specials or a brunch advertised outside. I went in to try to eat and had to leave again because it smelled completely of smoke. It was still daytime! I can't imagine eating here.
Padriac's
We went here for dinner and there was WAY to much smoke to have an enjoyable meal. So much so that I don't think it would even be fair to comment on the food. This is really meant to be a bar/hangout I guess.
Garrison's Broiler & Tap
Garrisons has good food and great ambiance. They are consistent with food and service whenever you go. You can get a good solid steak and yummy potatoes. Try the outside patio on a fall evening. Very fun.
Aria Restaurant
The food, the environment, the service...all totally delicious. I love this place. The Braised short ribs with celery whipped potatoes, sugar snap peas and babette carrots is an amazing meal that I have tried to replicate other places. No one else even comes close.
Maggiano's - Italian Catering & Restaurant
Most people think of Maggiano's as a good restaurant for a family style dinner. However, its a great place to hold an Event the planning was phenomenally easy and the decor is simple but elegant. All you really have to do is pick a menu and they handle the rest. And the value for the cost is tremendous.
The Chateau Elan Spa
I think Chateau Elan is one of the best choices in the Atlanta area. The technicians are all very talented and the spa facilities and spa restaurant are outstanding. The prices appear high at first glance but once you realize you can come for a massage and stay for the whole day it is worth it. Hang out in the hot tub and enjoy the free afternoon tea.
