We just bought our camper and wanted to try a place close to ourhome incase there were any issues. The first day we had some trouble with the camper and we were helped by the staff and allof the surrounding campsites to get the trailer set up. We went to the Carnival that was going on for the weekend and had a blast doing cakewalks, bingo, face painting for the kids and good PA Dutch food. We liked it so much we went seasonal this year and plan on staying a long long time.
They had a massage therapist on site last year, but not this year, We hope he comes back!
We tried Robin Hill due to a recommendation from a friend. The staff in the office was very nice and friendly. We got a great spot near the pond in hopes of fishing. The neighbors we had were rugulars to the campsite and told us the water had tested positive for giardia, basically animal feces had run inot the pond and contaminated it. I think the staff should have told us , or posted a warning. When we asked the staff she said that the pond was tested but she did not know the results. We do not plan on going back.
We purchased a new travel trailer and our salesman, JIm was fantastic. He went through the new and used models, eventually making our decision easier for our needs. When we went to pick it up and attend 'trailer school' there wer hours of hassles with the tires being wrong, and the hitch not set up right. The sales force does a very good job with trying to please the cuatomers, but the service departmetn is unorganized and lacks any tpe of leadership to get the job done.
The selection was top notch for our price range, and we did not feel out of place when we looked at the 250K models, they make you feel special no matter what you are looking at.
