My mother-in-law has gone to Malladi for years for her allergies. They have a whole department dedicated to that. We also used Dr. Malladi when our son needed tubes in his ears. His office performs the hearing tests right there. The doctor and other staff are very professional and pleasant.
We like that it is a group practice, so if our regular doctor isn't in we can see someone else right away. And not only is our primary care physician there, but they also have ob/gyn, eye doctor, labratory, and other services within the practice. The staff are always friendly and make you feel comfortable.
When we were in our "farm phase" we bought all our feed here - for the chickens, goats, pigs. Still get dogfood there in bulk, though we don't have the other animals anymore. The owner is a nice guy, very friendly and helpful. He also has a good supply of birdseed.
This is a seasonal, family-run farm stand. They have a large selection of vegetable plants and annuals in the spring, as well as some perennials and herb plants. All are good quality and most are grown in their own hothouses. Through the summer they have wonderful fruit and produce, again mostly grown themselves. They also do pick-your-own strawberries in June.
Jim Hawkes has been doing our taxes for several years. He is very prompt and professional, and he knows all the ins and outs of the tax code. He sends a questionnaire at the end of each year that we fill out and return with all our documents. He calls if he needs anything clarified, and sends us a copy of the finished returns with our documents when he's done. His fees are reasonable and well worth knowing we got the full refund to which we are entitled.
Abbe is a general practice attorney; she did our wills and also drew up a deed for us. She is very professional, her work is meticulous, and she is also very warm and caring. She has a small, but comfortable and nicely furnished office. It was a pleasure to work with her and we will definitely call her again when the need arises.
We first got in contact with Jerry through a referral from Dell computers - he is a Dell certified system expert. We have also called him on our own for other computer needs. He replaced our fried hard drive, helped us reconnect our home network, and fixed a loose panel on our notebook. He is very prompt and courteous, very knowlegeable, and comes right to the house to look at the computer and work on it. He has always had great advice and given us a good deal. I highly recommend him for your computer service needs.
A couple of years ago we had Martin's put a rug in our finished basement. The installers seemed like a couple of hacks. The rug had visible seams all over the place and has since started unravelling at the seams - it looks terrible. We called to complain and they said someone would come out, but they never did. Hopefully they have better installers now, but I won't use them again.
When we built our house a few years ago, Baystate did all of our flooring. They were easy to work with, and the carpets and floors all look very good. We used them again this summer when we put on an addition and had another good experience.
We go to Arnold's every couple of months to stock up on meats. They have everything you could want and we find that buying in bulk here is much cheaper than the small packages at the grocery store. The staff is very helpful and they have other complementary items such as barbecue sauce, frozen vegetables, and buns. I also love the dry soup mixes. Only drawback is how crowded the parking lot and store are on weekends.
