Carvel Ice Cream & Bakery
I love Carvel! They have the best vanilla soft serve ice cream, hands down. They also offer great ice cream cakes. The number of Carvels in the area have certainly gone down, but the quality has always remained the same. The service is always great, and the prices are good too!

Great Adventure
Great Adventure is a fun day trip. It is very expensive if you do not have a season pass, and the food and drinks are also very pricey. They do boast a ton of incredible roller coasters, and they do have a lot of really great kiddie rides. They also have Hurricane Harbor which is a lot of fun on a hot day in the summer, but that is also separate admission. They Wild Safari is also fun to drive through, it has a huge variety of exotic animals. Overall, I really do enjoy Great Adventure, and it is certainly something your kids would enjoy.

Howell Lanes is a good place to bowl. It is kind of dirty, but a lot of teenagers really like to hang out here on the weekend nights. They offer late night cosmic bowling which is fun, and they also have a cafe and bar. It is a fun night out.
Apple Air-Heating & Air Cond
We always call Apple Air when we have a problem with our heating or air. They are always quick to respond, and great in an emergency. They have competitive prices and they are very helpful. They are always knowledgable, and are a great and reliable business.
Twin City Jewelers
They are always so friendly and so helpful here! My family has been coming to them for years, and I can't say enough good things. They offer such a wide variety of jewelry and there prices are pretty competitive. They will custom order anything you want, and the staff is always eager to help with everything!
Sandys Cozy Corner
This place is so cute to come for breakfast or lunch. They are a really great local place, you'll always see someone you know. It can get pretty crowded, and parking is hard sometimes, but it is so worth it. They offer a pretty good menu. They have great blueberry pancakes, and sweet potato pancakes.
Nancys Coffee Cafe
I've gotten coffee drinks from here a few times, and they are really delicious. However I feel that over five bucks for one drink is a little expensive. They offer samples a lot of the time to get you inside, just be warned how pricey they can get.
Java Moon Cafe
I've eaten at this cafe a few times, and I always enjoy it. They offer a lot of unusual twists on classic favorites. They have a great burger with really interesting sauce. They also offer a lot of good drinks. The prices are decent, and the service has always been good. It is a good place to come if your looking to try something different. They also are decorated pretty cool inside!
Franks Nursery & Crafts
I love Frank's. There used ot be one right down the street from me but it closed. They have a great selection of crafts, and they are so much cheaper than Michael's or Rag Shop. The staff is always very helpful here, and in the Spring, Summer, and Fall they have a huge variety of affordable plants.
Swingtime
Swingtime is a great place with a very easy location, right on route 9. It is a really nice place to go with your family or friends. They offer batting cages, an arcade, and they even do birthday parties. The golf is fairly priced and the two courses are challenging, one even brings you under the waterfall. Its always a good time!
