This is motel is nothing to get excited about. It is, however, clean and cheap. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They motel is convenient to the beach.

The choice of cuts of steak is huge - who knew there were so many. Everything is sold ala carte, so the bill adds up a bit quickly. Everythings well prepared and delicious
Trumbull Kitchen
I have been here for lunch a couple of times for business meetings. The atmosphere is high energy, the food is ecclectic and very good. There is a good variety of dishes for nearly every taste.
David's Place
It's too bad that they are only seasonal. The other week, I had a craving for some good onion rings and I knew where I wanted them from. I drove there, and was disappointed to find them closed. They do also have good burgers, and seafood.
Bombay Bar & Grill
I went here for dinner with a friend who goes here all the time. The food is amazing. Although I haven't been there for the bufftet (yet), I keep hearing that it too is really good and what a great way to try all the different dishes on the menu so you know what to order, when you return - and you will return.
Saeed's International Market
I just had a terrific middle eastern meat pie and some fresh tabouli for lunch from this wonderful treasure of a market. They not only have prepared Middle Eastern, Greek, Italian, etc foods and dessets but they also have a great market for thos unusual foods you can't find in the large chain grocery stores
Sarge's Comics Etc
incredibly wide variety of used and new comics, figurines and memorabilia. Parking is a little tight. Also has a gaming "suite" but have never been to that part.
Paul's TV
When we were shopping for a new TV, we shopped here. The service is personal but the guys work on commission, so there is a bit of pressure to buy "now." The selection and prices are very good. Support this local business.
State Street Diner
The place closed for a short while for some renovations and reopened with a new name but the same great diner food. Prices are good. Parking in downtown New London is always a hassle. Service is also good.
Norm's Diner
This is a traditional old fashioned diner. Even the decor is original - green tiles with pink accents. The prices are very reasonable, the service is friendly and they have very good food and coffee. On the weekends, for breakfast it is pretty busy but go anyway.
