This is a small dollar store type place in the center of town. They sell alot of party supplies, but many you could get the same thing for cheaper at a dollar store if you are buying a lot of things. They sell party favors, a ton of little toys, balloons, cooking-ware and sternos, cards, and more.
A great little video store in the center of town that has just about any movie you could be looking for. If they don't have it, they will gladly put you on a waiting list and call you right when they do. They have converted mostly to DVDs for any movies that are available as such. They also have a section of rental video games. All new movies are about $5 for a rental. They also sell candy, snacks, and ice cream to enjoy with your rental, and have a selection of used movies to purchase as well. Friendly service.
This is a great little diner-style restaurant with a very home-like feel. They have a lot of great breakfast choices to choose from and one of the most interesting things about this place was that all of their menu selections were just displayed on the wall. I've had the italian french toast and the eggs benedict and I would highly recommend either. Theres also fantastic pancakes made in different fruit flavors.
This is a fantastic medical group that my whole family goes to for all medical needs. There is a great group of doctors to choose from in all fields. I come here to see my regular doctor, my obgyn, and my dermatologist. I have never been unsatisfied. Even when my doctor is out, and I have to come in, I still love the other doctors they give me an appointment with. Definately recommend!
This is a pretty decent miniature golf course located right on route 35. My cousins and I will occassionally take a walk here to get in a game or two of mini golf and then head right across the street for a nice cold drink at wawa. It's a very simple course, but it is kept updated and clean, making it an enjoyable one.
we stumbled across this restaurant while looking for somewhere to have dessert on vacation. what a find! the desserts were varied and delicious, the place was classy with live jazz, and the waiter asked us what types of wine we liked, and produced a bottle of the best wine either of us had ever had! too bad we didn't find out what kind it was.
bar a is fantastic! the crowd is young and fun, and there is a huge outdoor area with several bars, tables, games, and great cover bands, as well as an indoor area with more music and food. on tuesdays they have "beat the clock" and beers start at 50 cents, with the price going up on the hour. always guaranteed to be a fabulous night!
lenny's has the best pizza on the island! there's a nice dining room and friendly staff, and the pizza is great, especially before or after a day at the beach. they also have a full menu of italian offerings, as well as special menus on holidays such as new years eve
this is a fantastic setting for live jazz. there's many different styles of jazz showcased, and the crowd is very appreciative of the talent on the stage. drinks are required and a bit pricy ($12 for a mojito), but the night is still worth it
this is a tiny little bar that is barely visible from the street (and you have to walk down the stairs to get to it) but it's a fun vibe, there's usually a band playing, and there's half price mixed drinks for ladies on saturdays! can't beat $2.50 drinks!
