Shipley Do-Nuts

Cypress, TX Doughnut Shops 02/08/08: 'Excellent'

Every shipleys is great and this one is no different. It's right down the street from where I work and comes in clutch on the days I'm running late. I just drive on up thru the drive thru and get my dozen of many assorted donuts, which they always have, and i'm out of there quick. The value is and has been always a steal. I would definitely recommend you stop on by.

Melting Pot Restaurant

Houston, TX Restaurants 02/08/08: 'Very Cool!'

What a unique dining experience. I went last valentines day and was pleasently surprised. We got the special that was going on which included a cheese fondue with your choice of cheese and it came with pieces of bread and green apples to dip in which was amazing, next was THE BEST ceasar salad I have EVER had. Next was the meats and veggies of our choice where you get to cook them in a base of your choice which takes some time but it's fun. Then the best part came out, the dessert. You pick your choice of chocolate fondue and they bring you pieces of cake, cheesecake, and strawberries to dip. To top if off they have an amazing chocolate martini!!! I would definitely reccomend this restaurant for a special occassion and allow for plenty of time.

Wings N More

Houston, TX Barbeque Restaurants 02/08/08: 'Best Wings!!!'

If you want inexpensive quality wings with a kick this is the place to go. A big plus is that it does have a drive thru window for those times when you just want to get your food and lounge at home.

Pappasito's Cantina

Both Pappasitos and Pappadeux are two outstanding restaurants. Pappasitos has great fajitas with a to die for butter sauce and excellent margaritas. Pappadeux is a family tradition. Each year for my birthday we go there and I always get the same dish. The Mahi Mahi with the stuffing of shrimp, crawfish, and cheeses with two sides of my choice. To end I get my favorite dessert creme brulee. The best anywhere..so good!!!

Hooters Restaurants

Houston, TX Storage - Houston, TX Self Storage 02/08/08: 'Great hang-out'

I've been to this location several times. Great environment, large screen TVs for games, and awesome wings. If you're going out to enjoy a game, eat a little food, and have a beer, I would recommend Hooters. You can't go wrong.

221 B. Baker St. Pub & Grill-Willowbrook

Houston, TX Bars & Clubs 02/08/08: 'Over crowded and slow service'

It's a very nice environment, great lighting to where its comfortable. BUT, the service is slow and most of the time its due to the over crowding of people. Drinks are a little pricey as well. It's a place to check out if you're okay with just sitting back and relaxing.

Sonic Drive-In

Houston, TX American Restaurants 02/08/08: 'Always a good choice'

Definitely an all time classic. Not many people know about this one but please try the bacon bistro sandwich. SO VERY good! The new coffee drinks are as equally as pleasing, try the hazelnut. The service is always great. My only downfall, and this goes for any sonic, is when they tell me the ice cream machine is down.

El Palenque Mexican Restaurant

Houston, TX Mexican Restaurants 02/08/08: 'Amazing Margaritas'

I've been to El Palenque many many times and there's been not one time when I've been disappointed. The margaritas voted best of houston in 2006 are just that. The large is the size of my head and half way through you can't believe you're tipsy because they are THAT good. And, the food is fantastic. I recommend the mixed fajitas with brochetta. Enough to feed two people and send a doggie bag home.
