This store is located in the strip mall by Wendy's in Chanhassen. They stock a wide selection of herbs and health supplements. I like to go to this store because it is a small store with very friendly staff and they will place special orders for you if you ask them to. You can find some things here that you can't find at Lakewinds or other health stores.
I went here for lunch with some co-workers a few weeks ago and was very pleased with my experience. They have a nice menu selection with good vegetarian options. The service was good and fast and the food was very good. I ordered a bean burrito that came with a side of spanish rice. It was only $5. My co-workers all enjoyed their meals too. It was very busy but we got a seat right away because we got there just before noon. I only gave it 4 stars because it has a bit of a bar look and feel, ambiance is not the best, but food is very good. I would go back for lunch or dinner.
When you want Thai food in Minneapolis this is the place to go. I love their wide selection of menu options and they allow you to choose what meat or non-meat you want them to put in your dish. This is great for vegetarians. You can ask them to hold the MSG too. The ambiance here is very nice. My brother orders the green curry dish and I order the stir frys. They also have nice vegetarian spring rolls with peanut sauce. I've enjoyed everything that I've ordered!
I've been to Na's Thai several times over the last few years and was very pleased with the food each time. Located on 78th street in Chanhassen next to Axel's. They have a lunch buffet, but I've always ordered off the menu because they don't put many vegetarian dishes in the buffet. They also just added an outdoor seating area last year that is very nice in the summer time. Service is good, prices are reasonable and food is tasty. If I want Thai food close to home, this is where I go.
Axel's is located in downtown Chanhassen across from the Dinner Theater. It is a classy place to go for lunch or dinner. Nice sandwich, soup or salad lunch options. There is a nice outdoor seating area to use during the warm summer days or evenings. Food is always good. They don't have many vegetarian options so I could only give them 3 stars. Atmosphere is nice if you are looking for a nice dinner and don't like chain restaurants.
Turbo Nails is located in the strip mall next to Byerly's in Chanhassen. I walked in there a couple times and was very pleased with my service each time. They are very professional and do great pedicures! They also do great manicures! The prices are reasonable and you can usually find a coupon for them on the back of your Cub Foods grocery store receipt. If you are in need of a Spring pedicure or manicure check them out.
I live and work very close to Lakewinds so I often go there just to have their soup from the hot bar or a salad or one of their wonderful entrees. Their selection of vegan food and soup is refreshing. I recommend this place for anyone who doesn't have time to cook fresh soup and doesn't want to eat soup out of the can.
I took my brother here for his birthday last April and he enjoyed his first experience eating an all vegan meal. We shared the nachos and they were excellent! He ordered a fruit smoothie and a pasta dish and I also ordered a pasta dish. They don't use actual pasta because all the food is raw, so they use vegetable noodles that they cut to look like spaghetti. I have been here several times and have not tried anything that I didn't like. There is something here for everyone. My brother continues to go back to this place and has taken his girlfriend here several times and her parents and they all love it!
