Delzano's By The Sea

Redondo Beach, CA Seafood Restaurants 03/01/08: 'Great Food'

Delzanos is kind of small, although they added an outside patio area, which is a great place to have lunch on the weekends. They have great food here. They also have special evenings with wine tasting and special menus. I think they do that once a month.

Chart House Restaurant

I love the Chart House, but I hate the prices. If I could afford it I would eat here everyday. They are only open for dinner, and that's because this was opened as a place for surfers to work, so they can surf all day, nap and then go to work at night - this could be an urban legend) The salad bar is the best. They have a nice bar too. the view is insanely awesome. it's like you are over the water.

Kincaid's Fish Chop & Steak

Redondo Beach, CA Seafood Restaurants 03/01/08: 'Good Seafood'

Kincaids serves very savory seafood. the fillet is also great. However, the prices are very high, and the parking is terrible. you have to park with all the other pier parking and it's a nightmare to get in and out. the service is friendly.

Carpet Wagon Inc

Torrance, CA Carpet & Rug Stores 03/01/08: 'OK flooring store'

After hearing a lot of commercials for Carpet Wagon, I thought I would check them out for some carpet I needed. They have a large showroom and a lot of selection. But the prices are very high, and the "specials" are not specials at all. The salesman was knowledgeable, but conceited.

New Starboard Attitude

Redondo Beach, CA Bars & Clubs 03/01/08: 'Good Bar on the Pier'

Starboard bar is a nice beach bar on the Redondo Beach Pier. They have rock-n-roll bands on the weekend. the bartender is really cool. the crowd is 30-40s and very laid back.

Naja's Place

Redondo Beach, CA Restaurants 03/01/08: 'Great Beer Bar'

Great bar. They have a lot of different beers on tap. The hamburgers are good, and so is the service. It gets really loud there, so don't go there to have a conversation.

Scotty's Inc

Hermosa Beach, CA Restaurants 03/01/08: 'Good food - great location'

Scottys has good food, but it's more about location here. It's not the kind of place you would seek out and crave something on the menu. It's the place you go when you are at the beach and want a good, quick bite. The service is great.

Sangria

Hermosa Beach, CA Italian Restaurants 03/01/08: 'too pricey'

Another trendy wanna be LA nightclub/restaurant. It is so over priced here, and good luck getting one of those over priced drinks on the weekend. the bartenders have attitudes, even though they make like $200 an hour.

Dragon

this is one of the newest trendy clubs on the HB pier. They are trying to bring LA to the beach, and it's just wrong. The drinks are like $15. Outrageous. I suspect it is a gay club incognito.
