Hub Caps Unlimited
I have an older minivan that has lost a hub cap more than once. Hub caps Unlimited always had a matching replacement at a reasonable price. I just call and ask, they locate it and hold it for me and I go pick it up. How easy is that?
Hub caps make all the difference in the way a car looks.
Cheeseburger Las Vegas
Perhaps at a place named Cheeseburger Las Vegas, we should have ordered the cheeseburger. However, in the interest of saving money, my daughter and I ordered the chicken strip baskets. I have never eaten such tasteless food in my life. The chicken and the fries tasted pretty much the same. I don't know how they achieve such blandness.
When I mentioned it to the waiter, they took one practically uneaten order off of our bill (which took forever) and we split the remaining order and left.
I would recommend another choice when in The Miracle Mile Mall.
Abc Store
Amidst all the junk and cheaply made, yet expensive T-shirts to be found in tourist towns, it's so nice to spot an ABC store. You can always count on quality merchandise at an affordable price. You can find a reasonably priced t-shirt for a girl that fits a girl; not just a guy's t-shirt with a flower on it.
They have every type of merchandise that you might need to pick up while traveling, including liquor.
I love ABC.
Abc Store
I have been to many ABC stores in Hawaii and I was excited to see two of them in the mall attached to Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. They have a great variety of novelties and gifts and better prices than the novelty stores. Their T-shirts are of a high quality and the best price around. They also have the everyday necessities that you might discover you need while traveling, including liquor.
Thanks ABC!
Margaritaville
Overpriced for what you get and not very good. The service was terrible. We had gratuity added to our ticket without it being detailed on the bill and it created a big hassle that was never resolved to our satisfaction.
I would go to one of the other myriad restaurants on the Strip.
Spice Market Buffet
This delicious buffet is located on the lower level of Planet Hollywood on the Las Vegas strip.
It has a variety of ethnic foods as well as the typical prime rib and turkey offerings. The mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had at a buffet. You can even order a made to order hamburger or polish sausage for lunch. The salad bar could be a little more extensive, but there was always plenty of fresh fruit.
The best feature were the delicious and various desserts. The fruit tartlets were excellent as were the homebaked cookies, the chocolate cake, the cobbler, the cheesecake. Definitely save room for dessert!
My only regret was that they serve Pepsi products instead of Coke. I discovered that Las Vegas is a Pepsi town.
Planet Dailies Restaurant
Planet Dailies is an American fusion restaurant located inside Planet Hollywood on the Las Vegas Strip. It has an extensive menu of every type of food as well as a huge breakfast menu. My favorite were the Tex-Mex eggrolls which were fantastic.
We also had delicious salads and sandwiches. They serve steaks, seafood, Mexican, Asian, Italian. Everything. The prices aren't cheap, but they are reasonable for the serving sizes.
Yolo's
Yolo's is an upscale Mexican Restaurant located inside Planet Hollywood on the Las Vegas Strip. The staff was friendly and accomodated our large party shortly before closing time with no complaint. The margaritas and the food were excellent.
Try Yolo's in Vegas.
Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino
There are so many amazing hotels to choose from in Vegas. We stayed at PH for an event and found it to be among the best. The rooms were clean and spacious, but with no real closets (only a wardrobe) and no extra bedding in the room. Service was prompt when I had a problem with the A/C. The casino is huge, loud and throbbing. We continually got lost in it looking for restaurants. The hotel is connected to a nice mall and also has a delicious buffet downstairs. There are several other good restaurants inside. The luggage check and valet parking were fast and easy to use.
All in all, a great place to stay in Vegas.
Rose Garden Tea Room
This charming Tea Room is located in the Rose Garden of the Huntington Library and Gardens. It is a beautiful location and facility with a delicious "Tea Time" buffet which includes finger sandwiches, salads, appetizers and desserts. All homemade and all you can eat.
A favorite place to go with your girlfriends when you tour the beautiful gardens and museums of the Huntington Library.
