The Walgreens in Elizabethton gets all of my drug store bsuiness. They are helpful and friendly people and almost never out of stock for the items I need on a regular basis. Being 24 hours is great too. The store is always clean and the shelves are stocked properly, everything is in its place and properly tagged and labeled so you know what you are getting. The pharmacy techs are knowledgeable and its been my experience they are always willing to answer any questions about medications, even the OTC medication. Great store. The only downside to Walgreens is the lack of late night snack food. The selection consists mainly of junk food. A broader selection would be great.
I went in to purchase an adapter to connect a Sirius receiver. The adapter was defective or something, either way it did not work as designed. I returned the adapter and was pretty much talked down to like I didn't know what I was doing and that it was my fault. It was a real pain to get my money back and it was only after demonstrating the faulty product. I won't be returning and after that hassle I decided it best to just get the parts and build my own adapter.
What can I say. Until this past December I have done business with Ray and his staff, both buying and selling cars. I bought a Dodge Stratus in November of 05 and ran it nearly 90k miles in less than 2 years with almost no problems. I have taken cars to this lot to be sold on consignment and he has sold them for what he said he could sell them for. I would do business with them again and the only reason I went elsewhere to buy my most recent car is because they didn't have the car I wanted. I give Ray 6 stars.
I recently bought a car from here. I'm partial to the Chrysler "Cloud Cars" and since repairing my Stratus is more than the car is worth I decided to replace it. I found a Breeze in front of this lot in December and decided I had to have it. I stopped in and asked about it and asked if I could take it for a lengthy test drive to check it out and show it to my loan person and they said that would be OK. Not at all typical for a car lot. I bought the car and have since put nearly 12k miles on it. I can't find any problems with the car and I would suggest to anyone this car lot.
I guess it used to be Comfort Inn, but now its Americourt, and its a great place to stay. The high speed internet never gives any trouble, the rooms are clean and quiet, and its back off the highway far enough to be quiet place to stay. Far enough away from town to keep from the hustle and bustle of downtown Elizabethton but yet close enough to be just a few minutes drive from the main strip. The staff is very nice and they make the stay enjoyable.
I eat at Dino's on a regular basis. The wait staff is amazing and always knows my drink order before I say anything and even after being out of town for a few months I came back and they still remembered. The food is great and in generous portions and the prime rib, although its no longer available, was some of the best in the area. You can't go wrong at a restaurant that has a historical marker for the first lasagna served in East Tennessee. Add a few more stars, they deserve 10 stars.
I eat at Amigo's regularly. They have prompt service, I never have to wait for anything, not even a refill. The food is great and its a comfortable and welcoming environment.
