I went in here to get some shoes for a wedding I was going to be in out-of-state and they were very friendly and helpful. The lady looked up the shoe for me and was able to order it and dye it to match the swatch I brought in. The price was very reasonable and they called me when the shoes came in. They matched perfectly. It was very difficult trying to coordinate, especially since the bride and the rest of the bridal party were out-of-state and I was the only one here!
Our son really responds to Dr. Davie. She is mild mannered and she engages and plays with him while doing her examination. She takes her time and asks us a lot of questions to make sure she isn't missing anything. Their office is in a building that has some places to sit and eat so you can always get a little something for the kids or a cup of coffee for yourself while you are waiting.
Nice place to go and have a burger and a beer! It's casual, laid back and the staff are friendly. They have comfort food that hits the spot.
We love La Venadita! We go here to purchase their marinated carne asada and chicken. The meat is so worth it. We also buy their quacamole and my family loves it. They have so many other items in here but we specificially go here for the meat when we have a BBQ. Been going here for years. Parking is a bit difficult and if there is a holiday coming up make sure you go on Friday instead of Saturday because the lines are terrible. They only have 2 cashiers and the store is small. You will be able to tell by the lines out the door and the people parking across the street that you are in the right vicinity for the meat market. We have only been here once on a Saturday right before a holiday and they did run out of carne asada so plan accordingly.
We frequent this little place quite often and run into a lot of people here! Staff are friendly and we have gotten to know them pretty well so they usually start ringing my order up before I speak since we get the same things usually. Good Mexican food and the prices are fair. Good salsa bar.
This is in old Torrance and though it may look small at first they really do have quite the selection inside. My daughter was doing a 5th grade Tableau and needed to dress up like one of our forefathers and a teacher recommended we check this place out. They helped us with a period costume and we got a white wig and everything. I was surprised at how inexpensive it was to rent the costume and wig. They were very familiar with the Tableau and had been taking care of parents for this event for years so they knew exactly what we needed and retrieved everything for us. Great customer service. This is the first place I think of when we need something for a school function, i.e., Renaissance Fair or period play.
This is a relatively new business in Torrance. Went there with some girlfriends on a whim to check it out and the place carries only designer handbags and they are on consignment. You can bring designer handbags and sell them here. They will give you 60% of the profit once your handbag has sold. It's an interesting place and if you would like to recycle some of your older designer bags and buy new you can at least know that you will be getting more money for it than if you had a garage sale.
Wonderful office with state of the art equipment. Dr. Miller is great with our very active son who doesn't like to sit still during an examination. He put our son's ear tubes in and used stainless steel. Our pediatrician is always surprised to still see the tubes in after so much time but Dr. Miller told us that they tend to do better in infants and don't fall out as early on. It has saved us from having to have more surgeries and to keep putting tubes in.
Dr. Dowell is a wonderful doctor and doesn't rush through anything. She never makes you feel like she has other patients she needs to get to right nextt door. She has recently retired and I will miss her.
This is a small family owned business. The owner is nice and customer service is his middle name. They specialize in building management and have handled it all.
