Moneta Nursery
I have been frequenting this nursery for years now and am so glad I found this place! They have nearly every plant, shrub, and tree you can think of. There is always someone around that you can ask questions of and they are very helpful. I needed shade plants for an area of my garden that I just could not get to grow. I explained the soil to them and how much light the area got and they took me around picking things out for me and if anything did not work to bring it back and they would replace it with something else. Their prices are better than Home Depot or Lowe's and the selection far surpasses them as well.

Isoldit On Ebay
I took some items here to have sold that I just did not have time to do myself. They were great. They research the item to find out its worth or how much something similar has sold for and they will tell you whether or not you should wait if it's a seasonal item and you can get more money for it later. They send email updates to let you know the progress after it has been listed on eBay. They then take care of wrapping and shipping for you. I simply got an email letting me know how much my item sold for and to expect a check. I received my check within a week. For anyone who does not have the time to sell something on eBay themselves or is not familiar with the process I would recommend taking it to this place to have them handle it all for you.

Beautiful resort! They have a walkway around the cliffs behind their resort with breathtaking views.
Numero Uno Pizza Pasta
We really like their pizzas and I think it has something to do with us having a sweet tooth as the pizza dough is quite sweet. They take their toppings and smother the cheese over that so you can't really see your toppings but they are there and they are plentiful! Recommend getting the Romano Puffs as well.
Tacone Flavor Grill
They have good food wraps here and their sweet potatoe french fries are to die for! Great place to grab a quick lunch from. They have all kinds of sauces to try as well.
Trimana
Variety of food, they have daily menu specials, prices are reasonable, fast and friendly service. Always busy in early morning and at lunch time. Menu specials run out before 1 p.m. so make sure to get there either before noon or just a bit after.
Lenscrafters
They have a great selection on frames and contacts. They do take insurance but most items are not covered. The staff are friendly. You need to make an appointment. However, even if you do make an appointment they have a tendency to run really behind and you end up being in there for a lot longer than you had hoped.
Futon City
This place is really small and they are stacked from floor to ceiling and wall to wall so it's really hard to get around in here. They have a large selection and are priced fair.
Laker Furniture Mattress Sofa & Futon Center Liquidation
This is a small business in old Torrance and has been there for years. They have helped me out several times with pieces and are haggle friendly.
