Have been going to Suzie's and Suzie herself for 8 years. Love the fact that it is so clean - especially the manicure and pedicure area. Also, even though the girls are vietnameese they only speak English with each other which personally I like. prices I think are on track for skin services. They carry and use top of the line products. It is however not your posh - here put on a robe day spa - that said their prices don't reflect that either. Still - you are in an enclosed room with music and a tranquil environment is provided.

Tuition wise - it's probably one of the lowest you'll find in the south bay. Maximum class sizes are 35-37 - 28 in kindergarten. My son's 1st grade class was 37 - classroom size is not equipped for this many kids. It was chaos. Behind a little in the math/science department though they just built 2 new facilities for science. They don't get foreign language until 6th grade. I left for a number of reasons - they are lapse in the faith formation of the children - mass once a month. Had my concerns with the administration - Principal's ability to manage tough moral issues.

Holy Family Church

San Jose, CA Catholic Church 06/06/08: 'parishioner'

Have been here for 6 years now - love the community. Holy Family actually celebrated it's 100th year in 2005 - it was the first cathedral in San Jose that was torn down when Hwy 101 went in - this is their 2nd location - the church has a lot of the original stain glass windows from the cathedral. Close knit, lots of ministry's - and opportunity to know and grow in your faith.

I think this is a great place to sneak in with your kids or girlfriend for lunch or breakfast - it's pretty good food - at decent prices. Not a whole lot of room though. In the Summer you can also eat outside. Worth trying out for yourself.

What a super orthodontist and office this is. Recommended to me by my sister who has 8 chidren and taken 4 through him. I just completed with my first one - 13 mos - teeth look wonderful - he is a preventative orthodontist and prefers, when possible, to do treatment in 2 phases allowing the children to keep as many teeth as possible. The office itself is really well run, informative, on the ball, clean - you name it! In fact, I ran into someone there last week whom I hadn't seen in 3 years - neither of us knew the other were patients and she said "He's the best isn't he?" that says it all!
