If we lived closer, we'd go more often, but the trip out to get the pumpkins is a must. The children enjoy the hay-ride, the pony ride, the haunted house, picking out their pumpkins, and the playground equipment. The grown-ups especially enjoy the donuts. Great family fun!
Oh yes, authentic Polish food. Their stuffed cabbage is sensational. I had some yesterday for our traditional Easter dinner. I have bought it before in Garfield, Clifton, and Passaic. I usually "doctor" up the sauce a bit from these other establishments. I'm glad I tasted the sauce BEFORE I did anything to it. It is marvelous. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Ten more pounds...here we come!
This is a highly original place. There are beautiful gardens to enjoy before you venture into the most unusual store you will ever encounter. Be sure to leave yourself enough time to thoroughly explore the gift shop. Unique New York!
We had an elegant breakfast here while visiting friends in the area. Beautifully restored to its original grandeur, the Aurora Inn is situated right on Lake Cayuga. After dining, take a walk down to the water's edge and enjoy the scenery.
We have a mini family reunion here every fall after we visit the farm across the highway. We all have a great time, especially the children who enter the hula-hoop contest. Then after dinner, enjoy the antique cars that are always there in the parking lot. It's truly a 50's hamburger heaven.
Looks more like a villa than a chalet to me. We have been to several parties here and have always had a good meal. Parking is ample and easy. You can valet or not.
My family went to a retirement dinner there and we were charged for a pitcher of soda! The food was okay. Parking is difficult to say the least and if you don't want to valet, too bad!
Right on, Kelly S. What can be more refreshing on a hot dy then a frosty mug of root beer? Easy off, easy on from Rt. #46 for a quick burger, fries and that frosty mug of root beer. This has been a family favorite for years.
If you remember the Robin Hood and enjoyed everything about it, the The Valley Regency is you cup of tea. It is in the location of the Robin Hood and the food is just as good. Only drawback is that it is only a banquet place now, no longer a walk=in restaurant.
This is one of the most beautiful places in New Jersey to have a wedding reception. Everything was beautifully done and the food is really terrific. Highly recommended.
