Enjoy your visits to the dentist? Well, you would if George was your dentist. Starting with receptionist, Sandy, dental hygienist, Chris, and right up to the great man himself, our experiences have been wonderful. Sandy, Chris, and George are always bright, cheerful, and efficient. We are both in our 70's and have been to many dentists in the past. None compare to the gentleness and competence of George. They treat you like one of the family.
and service. We dine here often with several other couples and are always pleased with our choices. The food is excellent and the wait staff has always been efficient. The owner will accommodate your larger group. We like the back room away from the in-and-out traffic
This is the only place left in North Jersey to get good sauerbraten or any other good German dishes now that Triangle Hofbrau is gone. My husband's favorite is the Weiner schnitzel.
If you have ever been to a real English tearoom and long to repeat the experience, then by all means go to Belamari's. The tea sandwiches, cakes, etc. are scrumptious and served elegantly. The only drawback is its size so you really need to make a reservation.
Our group of retired teachers meets here several times a year. Over the years we have tried many different dishes and are always satisfied. The service is as good as the food. They need new chairs though.
night for several years we have been going to Anthony Franco's to pick up three large pies. Their pizza satisfies the palettes of everyone in our family from Grandpa (76) to Sarah (3). We tried several other places after John's in downtown Butler closed but none are nearly as good as Anthony Franco's. I have not tried anything but their pizza, but I'm sure the rest of their fare is just as good
makes this place soooo special. If you're like me your ice cream will melt while you sing along with the popular Broadway tunes and classics that he plays. My husband always has to drag me out so I stop embarrassing my children and grandchildren who are thoroughly enjoying the ice cream sundaes we bought. Every birthday is now celebrated with one of their fantastic ice cream cakes.
Five of our granddaughters have taken lessons from Miss Cherie. Four still go and the sixth will start next year. The girls love going to Miss Cherie's and our daughters love the financial consideration of having only one costume even though the girls take ballet, tap, jazz, and gymnastics. The costume changes are accomplished with changes in accessories so they look different but don't cost nearly as much as four completely different costumes.
A seafood lovers delight. The portions are huge and they are priced just right. This is our favorite lunch spot and meeting place for family from the area. Other favorites are the fish and chips, the New England clam chowder, the cheesesteak sandwich, hamburgers, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, and I guess everything we have tried!
Our family favorite for five generations from my grandparents to our grandchildren. We stop here every time we visit family in Portsmouth. We go mainly for the Awful Awfuls but the platters and sandwiches are great for lunch or dinner also. It's very much like Friendly's with a little extra on the side. Go early on summer evenings or the line will be out the door.
