I have been going here to see Dr. Jones for years, and have always had a good experience. While there have been some changes in the office over the years, I was pleasantly surprised at my last visit that all the employees in the office were friendly and helpful.
Carr's Drive In
Need I say more? Carrs has great prices to offer for their food. The burgers look good, I enjoy the veggie burger, and I love their shakes. If you are in the area, it is a great place to stop for a bite to eat.
Bill's Farm Basket
While some items may be a little pricey, there are some great fresh choices. I love the fruit bars, and there are several other unique items to choose from in regards to dried fruits.
The Hopyard Alehouse & Grill
This place was very good for lunch. There were several menu items to choose from, and the turkey burger was delicious. The service was quick and good. Umm umm good.
High Tech Burrito
This is a great place for a quick lunch or dinner. There are several good choices to put together a meal that you like. I will definitely stop here again when I am in the area.
Sushi Tozai
The martini prawns are to die for. The dragon roll along with a couple other specialty rolls are so good they leave you wanting more. I will definitely be back again.
Ambrosia Bakery
This is a great little bakery. I used to always stop at this bakery on my way in or out of the city. They have great muffins and pastries and I like the mocha. Their cakes are wonderful too, for a special occasion.
Thirsty Bear Brewing Company
This is a great place for a beer. It seems to be a very popular after work spot, since every time I have been here the bar area has been full. I made the mistake of ordering lemonade the last time I was there, and was charged separately for every drink. Next time I will definitely go for the beer.
Cabanas in the Garden
I went here for a massage and the experience was wonderful. The facility was very nice, the rooms (or cabanas) are extremely peaceful. The massage itself was amazing. My favorite part was being able to take a shower afterward and get ready for the rest of the day. I definitely recommend this place for a little get away full of relaxation.
Powells Sweet Shoppe
This is a great little sweet shop. They have everything you can possibly imagine in terms of sweets, candies, and chocolates. It is an adventure to go in here, and very difficult to leave without purchasing anything.
