This is a fun place to visit and browse...even buy...if you like unusual clothing, toys, etc. made out of the wool of the alpacas that they raise on this farm. Lisa Phillips, store manager and owner, is very helpful and interesting to talk to. The store has limited hours; but, if you call and find out the times it will be open, you will be delighted. They even sell yarn to make your own creations. Also, they have a pumpkin patch in the fall and include a hayride to see the several animals on the farm. At Christmas, they sell freshly cut trees from another property they own. To see the alpacas up close is a delight for children and adult alike. Don't miss this local business.
Allan Capalbo, Proprietor, has created an extremely delightful atmosphere for his wine store. It is more than just a place to find wonderful wines, unusual wines, one can spend time looking at the decor, jewelry, and other gift items beautifully displayed here. He and his wife have created a warm, homey and classy atmosphere. They feature live music on Sundays from 4-7 p.m. The room where the bar is located is decorated as though you were in someones living room. They even have a fireplace that is so inviting on those many cold, snowy days we have had. Call 973-728-5500 for more information. You will love this place.
We recently discovered this diner. A friend had told me it was good; but, my husband and I hesitated to stop here. In the past, we have been very disappointed with the eateries that were here. A few weeks ago in a snow/ice storm, we stopped here because it was close to home. We were so pleasantly surprised that the food was SUPER! We only had a breakfast selection; but, have since returned to order a dinner selections. Our choices were also wonderful. It's close to home, it's affordable, and the food is very good. It's a must try.
Jack Sydor, owner and contractor, is the finest artisan we have come across. He has completed three jobs for us; 1) He designed and built an outside deck that surrounds our above the ground pool, and 2) He designed and built a Family Room with a second Bathroom, and 3) He designed and built in a storage unit in our bedroom for clothing and enlarged our closet. On all three jobs, the professionalism and communications were of the highest quality. For women...he is very neat and tidy...there is no dirt or debris at the end of the day. If you have a new construction or home improvements in mind....call Jack at Sydor Construction Company. You will not be disappointed. I have recommended him to many clients and am glad to do it again here.
Doug Pritchard has serviced our cars for over 30 years. He has always kept them running perfectly. You will experience courteous, professional, timely and reasonably priced service. Both my husband and I would highly recommend Pritchard Automotive for your car's care.
This is a local paint store that gives you all the services like the old time local services. They spend time with you, answer your questions, and give you advice/recommendations all in a friendly, personal way. You will be very happy buying your painting supplies from P.J. Monahan Paint Co.
I have been a customer at Mullin Glass Company, Main St., Butler, NJ for over 20 years. Skip Mullin and his staff have always been very helpful and professional. They have even designed glass shapes for me. Both of my children worked here during their High School years and one during college. It was a great experience for both boys. I would highly recommend this business.
We live on one of the older properties of Bloomingdale and we have several old maples and other varieties of trees. This was a selling point 35 yrs. ago for us; but, now many of the trees need pruning and/or removal. We were fortunate to be recommended to James Maloney & Son Tree Service. They are competitively priced and their work is excellent. They clean up after themselves and take away the debris. We recommend them highly.
We have been going to Bob's from the time he opened to the present. Bob gave our sons their first haircuts and for a time, our whole family went to him. His friendly atmosphere and gift of gab, especially about antique cars, makes getting a haircut a social event. His son, Michael, has joined the business and he just adds to the friendly atmosphere. Both barbers are very knowledgeable about barbering and take their time so that you are satisfied. You can't beat the price.
If you like having a regular massage; but, can't afford it....this is the place for you. This is a school that trains message therapists and they hold Student Clinics weekly several days a week.
