La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant
If you don't have time to drive to one of the bigger cities, these guys can make some delicious salsa to curb the craving. I'm not a big fan of the enchiladas, but the chips and salsa... fajita meat and nachos are all pretty good!

B & B Foods
Being the only grocery store in town, the B & B has really slacked on cleaning up. The produce area is always dirty and the areas under the shelves hasn't been cleaned in a while. They have friendly staff and a decent selection considering the size... but please clean it up!!!

Trammel Trace Tribune
This locally owned and produced paper is a must to keep up with town events. I now live 3 hours away but love to read the Trammel Trace. They cover the big news as well as who is in the hospital or expecting a baby!

Bosses Brickoven Pizza
They have great cheese pizza with homemade crust! A slice is like $2.80 but its huge. Its NY style... you can have all kinds of topping added on for like $.15- $.25 per topping... there's no alcohol here, but really good pizza. Parking is limited, so park across the street!

Because they are the only facility really... they show it by taking terrible care of their patients. My mother ended up leaving this facility after almost a year and during that time her health deteriorated dramatically. She was given little attention and had several ailments that were a direct result of poor caretaking.

Very small living spaces for elderly or disabled especially. The management was very good to my mother in law who was severely disabled. The really small space allowed her to have her own apartment but not be overwhelmed by maintenance and getting around.

Keller Oaks Healthcare Ctr
This place seems more like a hotel than a nursing home... with beautiful floor enlays and a beautiful dining area to a crisply manicured exterior-- this place is awesome. Great seating areas for visiting and congregating... too bad the waiting list is so long!!!

Richland Hills Nursing & Rehab
The CNAs are the best part of this facility. Just getting management on the phone or meeting with them face to face is pretty difficult. The outdoor area is nice but the interior is kind of antiquated.

Reata Restaurant
The food here is really nice but you will have to pay for it. There are unique menu items- even game choices... they have an extensive wine list and full bar. Its a nice place for an impressive client meeting, but for just everyday dining, its not realistic.

Amigos Restaurant
I had low expectations considering the strip mall location-- but my mom was raving about it. From the $2.75 happy hour margarita and queso to the delicious flan... this place was amazing. There were 3 of us, we all drank,ate an entree and had dessert and only spent $44. I had the Mexican Lasagna which tasted as homemade as anything I've ever had in a restaurant. The queso was white and delicious, but the flan... oh my goodness. I have never had a dessert near that good. I can't wait to go back.
