If you are looking for inspiration for your new kitchen or bath, this is the place to be. Their displays are just beautiful.
If you want prices however, you need to speak to a salesperson (best way is to make an appointment) and get them to put together a package for you.
I found my salesperson (Brad) to be very knowledgeable and helpful.
Go out and have a look - even if you're just dreaming!
Lighting Specialists
If you are looking for new light fixtures, go no further! This little store is packed with lots of ideas. And if they don't have it on display, they are happy to look through their masses of catalogs and find what you're looking for.
Terance was very helpful and listened to what I liked. He also had lots of advice about which sort and how many lights I needed to adequately light a particular space. He then searched through and gave me some catalogs to take home and look at in my own time.
You can look at fixtures online, but there's nothing like seeing and touching them in person. This is the place to look.
Servpro
Ok, I must say that these guys did a good job with cleaning up our flooded mess, but it certainly could have gone more smoothly. They tried to disconnect the dishwasher to check underneath for mold, but didn't quite turn off the tap, so I returned to a new mess the next morning. This too was cleaned up and dried, but I thought it was a bit careless on their part.
All the guys that came out (and there were many trips and many guys) were very nice and worked hard. They ripped through layers of linoleum and subfloors and removed all the mold and mildew. And they hauled it all away!
All in all, I was pleased with the job and think that if I had another flooded mess, I would still call Servpro because I think they know what they are doing when it comes to cleanups.
Clear Drain
A tradesperson who is on time? Who knew it could happen? I called and arranged an appointment and they came as advertised!
Reasonable prices and all around nice guys with a sense of humor. (Not that that's required in a plumber.)
I will definitely be calling Clear Drain in the future if I have plumbing needs.
Pie Pizzeria
I am a pizza lover and this is the best pizza ever! The crust is wonderful (I like it doughy) and the combinations that they offer are so yummy! My family have tried the chicken ranch, BBQ chicken cilantro, and the stromboli (pepperoni, Italian sausage, green peppers and onions.) All were very tasty.
They also have a great home-brew root beer that is delicious. (But expensive.)
The pizzas are more expensive than the chain ones, but are definitely worth it!
Renovation Design Group
Not sure about all the architects at the firm, but we just love Annie. She has a great eye for seeing what a space should look like. She has designed a renovation plan for our home and we are so excited to get it started.
Initial drawings and design feasibility study give you several options based on your wishes. Then they give you a budget as to how much it will (likely) cost. If you decide to go with one of their drawings you have several options as to what they will provide. They can just give you the final floorplan and elevations, but they also offer a full "renovation solution" that offers advice on selecting a contractor and other issues relating to getting the project built.
Expensive, but no more so than other good local firms. If you're planning on renovating, they're worth a look.
Rodizio Grill
Definitely a meat-lover's paradise. The freshly spit roasted meats were cooked to perfection, the salad bar was great, and the selection of drinks was top notch. Reasonably priced meal and a friendly atmosphere. Give it a try!
Momentum Indoor Climbing
I've seen this place from I-15 many times, but had never been inside. It is absolutely huge!! I'm not sure exactly how high the wall is (check their website) but I'd bet its one of the biggest around.
We took our two kids (8 and 10) and spent most of the day there. They have a little cafe there with (pricey) sandwiches and pastries so we had lunch as well.
The staff helped us get trained to belay (hold the ropes) and we had a great time.
I noticed they also do birthday parties. A great place to go with a bunch of energetic kids. Go and have a look!
Furniture Warehouse
How refreshing it was to walk into a furniture store and not have a hovering salesperson constantly following me around. They were still standing in the doorway, but only to greet and give directions. I was left to my own devices to roam freely and browse at my leisure.
The furniture selection was just as good as the huge local chain stores. Seems they get a lot of the same furniture from overseas and price it a little bit more reasonably. Definitely worth the trip over to Road Redwood for a look.
Vincent Team Orthodontics
My daughter has only just started her "treatment," but the staff has all been very friendly, the doctor seems very knowledgeable - answered all of our questions. Price is comparable with other orthodontists around the valley - and the "Damon System" braces look to be very successful and faster than traditional braces.
The office is immaculate - video games and movie playing to keep everyone occupied while waiting. And they even had fresh cookies for us at the end!
