Fayetteville, NC Mobile Telephones 05/05/08: 'Very surprising'

I've had to replace several batteries and phones in the last year or so and every time I have gone, they had an option for me at radically lower than I would have expected. The service is topnotch and the selection, while sometimes iffy, is there. If they don't have it, they will find it.

Tung Sing Chinese Restaurant

Spring Lake, NC Chinese Restaurants 05/05/08: 'One of the Originals'

The buffet standard is no longer in Fayetteville, but Tung Sing- the Chinese franchise all over town has set a decent standard. The food is generally good and the selection is ok. I think some of the others in town do a better job, but for the price it is ok.

I used Quality for several events and they came and did the set up and provided the best price I could find for the needs. It was a good job and I would recommend them to anyone.

Fayetteville, NC Buses - Charter & Rental 05/05/08: 'Does the job'

I used them once for a short trip. They got the job done, but considering the lack of mileage, I felt we overpaid. Also, we were not able to have any food or beverage on the bus.

Metropolitan Room at the UBA Building

Fayetteville, NC Banquet & Reception Sites - Fayetteville, NC Entertainment - Fayetteville, NC Weddings and Events 05/05/08: 'Great Location'

I've used the Metro room several times and was very pleased with the location. They have been closed for the better part of year to renovate and when they are back online I can see them doing gangbuster business- it can accomodate around 400 and is just a perfect place in downtown for any larger event.

Berkeley Mall

Goldsboro, NC Department Stores - Goldsboro, NC Shopping Centers & Malls 05/05/08: 'Bad just bad'

One of the saddest malls in existence. Can barely maintain the main attractors let alone secondary stores. IT took years for them to repave the parking lot and it is just pathetic

This converted Rose's is only marginally better than a Roses. They have an oddball selection of items like a Rose's or Big Lots, but you can occasionally find a little gem.

Fayetteville, NC Variety Stores 05/05/08: 'Step above Big Lots'

I don't hit Roses that often- but this one is ok. I've been to other Roses in other areas and we are "lucky" enough to have several in this area. I would put this on the top above most but definitely only marginally better than a Big Lots.

Fayetteville, NC Amusement Parks 05/05/08: 'LOUD'

My kids love this place for the obvious reasons. But as one of the few arcades in the city, it is almost always packed. The adult games are a mixed bag of older and newer. Kids section is a bit dated. But they have the standbys and are pretty good with the ticket and token system.

Goldsboro, NC Movie Theaters - Goldsboro, NC Entertainment 05/05/08: 'Only Choice'

How sad, this town used to have two options- but guess you can take heart because this option is better than the other two combined. One has been bulldoze for another strip mall and the other... is just there. Thankfully you have a good theater in a bad location.
