Maui Wowi
maui wowi is a smoothies/coffee joint that has a california/hawiian vibe. its decorated with hawiian accents and such and they play hawiian music that makes it quit easy to pretend you're not in ramsey, nj, but rather, some island in the pacific! they also serve desserts, panninis, salads, and fruit smoothies that make it a place with a lot of health food options (even some of the fruity desserts!) its got a great vibe and is definitely worth checking out!
Jersey Burgers
Jersey Burgers is located in a little strip center off of the main street so its a little bit tucked away. Its really clean inside and obvoulsy their specialty is burgers but they you can get other things like chicken fingers there too. Totally average food and price-wise, but it was relaxed atmosphere that's nice for a quick bite to eat.
Brady's at the Station
Brady's is located right on Ramsey's main street. Its actually really nice inside - all hard wood and rustic looking, and its two floors, each having tables as well as a medium sized bar. The menu is pretty big, and some of their appetizers are great (Irish nachos and spinach & artichoke dip are both awesome) but their entrees aren't really big nor great. This would be a great place to get some drinks and appetizers, especially on a game day seeing as they have multiple TVs in the upstairs level. The acoustics are a little off, the place tends to seem noisy even if its not that crowded, too - but still a good place to go for a menu that has more than just your typical food!
Krispy Pizzeria
My biggest grievance with this place is that everytime I have their pizza, its not even crispy, which is extremely ironic given the name. Decent prices and nice inside, and their food isn't bad - I was just expecting nice crispy pizza and didn't get it! If you like a softer pie, I'd go here.
Pizza Rustica
Maybe I'm partial to NY pizza, but Pizza Rustica just didn't cut it for me. Really friendly staff and a nice place, but the food itself was lacking. They had a lot of different interesting kinds of pizza (blue cheese!?) but at the end of the day, not something I'd reccomend.
Nonna's Cafe-Gelato
There are many ice cream shoppes on Atlantic Ave, but this is the only gelato place and it is DYNAMITE. So many flavors, and the staff will let you try a few to see which one(s) you'd like to pick. The consistency of the gelato is what real gelato should be - soft and creamy, not hard like ice cream! If you ask, they will let you pick more than one flavor for your cup/cone. Fairly priced, and they also sell some baked goods and beverages, too. Clean and cutely decorated, a nice place to stop in to on your way to or from the beach!
Kilwin's Chocolates
Kilwin's has great ice cream. So creamy and refreshing, they've got your classic flavors with a few random ones too. They also sell candy and chocolate. Its located right on a main street in Delray Beach that leads to the beach which makes it a great pitstop either on your way home from the beach, or on the way to it. A little pricey, however - but that's my only complaint!
Ciccone Italian Deli
Ciccone's has your typical offerings of a deli, with a nice selection of Italian dishes, too. They're a little expensive but a great place to pick up dinner on the way home, whether its for fresh ravioli (delish!) or their homemade lemon chicken. Nice atmosphere - worth checking out.
Arirang
Arirang is simply so much FUN! Its expensive, but soo worth it. The chefs put on awesome shows on the hibachi grills, great for families or groups of friends. All the food is delicious and you will leave completely stuffed from all the food you get. Such a great experience, everyone should go at least once!
Horizon Diner
Horizon Diner is good because it doesn't get as crowded as the other diners on route 17. Their menu is your typical diner menu, and I've never had a dish that was less than average. Good prices, good service, definitely a diner I'd reccomend people try out especially on a Saturday night when other places are packed!
