This is the store to get all your scuba gear. They have knowledgeable people working here that are able to fit you with the right equipment. I wasn't prepared for the amount I would have to spend, but when I checked some of the prices against other places, Scuba WV was actually cheaper than most.
I have stopped in here a few times to pick up some items needed for traveling. I have always been able to find everything I needed quickly and have found their prices to be really low. The cashiers always have a smile on their face and talk to me instead of at me like some places do.
Their fruit, which is what I usually get, is always fresh and high quality.
Nice little family style restaurant. They have a wide variety of entrees to choose from with pretty reasonable prices. We could eat there for about $12 a person. For the quality of food, and the amount, this was good.
The waitress was very pleasant, and took care of everything that we needed. The place was clean, and even the restrooms were well taken care of.
For a relaxing meal in a quite environment, this is the place to go.
This place is on the first floor of the Ramada Inn which makes it very convenient whenever I stay at the hotel. They have a buffet which includes some of the best ribs that I have ever tasted. The buffet also has fish, sliced beef, and chicken, along with all of the usual side dishes, a soup and salad. When you are done with that you can hit the desert bar which has ice cream, homemade strawberry shortcake, puddings, and usually some other treat.
After a good nights sleep, we always come back for breakfast which has servings large enough to keep you full for hours. Every thing I have ordered for breakfast has been delicious. They have a lot of variety like eggs, pancakes, waffles, ham, steaks, hash browns, cereal and toast.
The tables are pretty cool because they have old newspapers sealed into the tops. So while you are waiting for your food, you can read them.
I wish this place delivered to Ravenswood. They have some of the best pizza in Jackson County. But unless I feel like driving all they way down there, I can't get it. I make it a point of stopping whenever I have to go to Ripley for something else. What ever time I request the pizza to be ready for pick up, it has always been ready. I think the most I have had to wait was about 3 minutes.
If you are looking for some awesome lasagna, here is the place to get it. Every time I have ordered the lasagna, it has been great. If you get it to eat there, it is served in a warmed plate that keeps it hot the entire time you are eating.
If you want it to go, you can just call in and they will have it ready in 15 minutes. And the cost is less than 5 bucks for a serving that will more than fill you up.
The place is clean and the waitresses are great. Unfortunately they don't have a parking lot, and occasionally you have to park quite a ways away on the street. But since they are on the corner, there are usually options.
I had an older watch that had quit working and I took it here. After they had it for a couple of days, they called and said it was working. When I went to pick it up, they didn't even charge me anything. Apparently there was a piece of lint that had somehow got on the spring. While they had it, they even cleaned it up a bit.
What pride in their service! I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a watch repaired or is looking for some jewelry.
I stopped in here to get a room for some relatives who were coming from out of town. Although the person at the front office was pretty nice, when I saw the rooms, I was unimpressed. The place is rows of single story rooms that all open to outside. They have a bed, chair small table and a tv. No real amenities. It is right next to the freeway, and I could hear every truck that went by. As I was leaving I noticed there were a lot of semi's in the lot and on the road leading up to the motel. This place seems like it is more for truckers who are used to the noise and are just looking for a place to shower and crash for a few hours. I went down to Ripley where there are quite a few nice hotels. I would suggest you drive a few miles down the road if you want a nice room.
When I first saw this place I thought it was just a little hole in the wall store. But when I went in for some flowers to take to a grave site I was headed to, I was surprised at all the stuff they had. And all of the flowers were fresh. The lady helped me pick out a few nice flowers that would last in the open air, and even put them in a water tube for me so they would last longer outside.
I will continue to go here for any flowers I need.
I've been here for everything from a cold to needing stitches, and have been well taken care of every time. Without a regular doctor, this place is where I go whenever I need any medical care. They always treat me with respect, and call me by name. I feel like a person not just another number.
They also call a couple days after you have been there to make sure things are okay and to see if you need any other follow-up.
The staff always seems friendly and they can deal with insurance companies.
