Playdrome Roosevelt Lanes
RIP Playdrome Roosevelt. Closed its doors forever. Owner/manager now at Playdrome Rose Bowl in Allentown, PA. Did not close down for lack of business. Guess the real estate upon which it stood beacame too valuable to justify the income a bowling alley generates. Sad.
Bowlmor Lanes
Joseph F., you obviously are not a real bowler because you have no idea what you are talking about. You say " forget about trying to hook the ball because there is zero oil. " Well, if there was zero oil, as you say, then the ball would be hooking like crazy down the lane. So please get a clue before you make a know-nothing comment like that.
By the way, I am not a sympathizer for Bowlmor. I was there only once and the place was a smelly dump.
New Fiesta Bowl
I bowled in a league here when it was simply Fiesta Bowl in the mid 80s. I just tried calling the number and it has been disconnected. There is no listing anywhere for this place and no listing of it on bowl.com. Am assuming it has been closed forever.
