Sages Restaurant
I took my wife here on a date night and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was excellent, the service was attentive and the atmosphere was excellent. Nice decor as well. Highly recommend Sages.
Goldbergs Famous Deli & Restaurant
The only thing saving this from 2 stars is that their lunch service is better than dinner. I do not recommend that you go at dinner. I have always had terrible service then. The food is pretty good and the portions are OK although it is a little pricey. At lunch they do good business and it is usually pretty crowded. At dinner all the family's go to Red Robin and it is vacant. And the service is terrible. See how bad it is...I said it twice!
Stan's BarBQ
Originally from Kentucky, I searched everywhere for BBQ before stumbling upon Stan's. The first thing you notice when you enter is the smell of the restaurant. I knew from that moment that I was going to enjoy the experience. The smoky smell of seasoning had my mouth watering before I sat down. I'm not a drown it in sauce BBQ fan. I like my flavor cooked into the meat - Kansas City style. The pulled pork is unbelievable, the chicken wing meat falls right off the bone and is so tasty, the ribs are the best I have had anywhere. We love to go there as a family and just hang out and stuff ourselves. The portions are big and it's a little pricey - but that's what I would expect for food and service this good. Wow...after writing this review I am ready to go there right now!
Dome Burger
Nice selection at very reasonable prices. You can do burgers or chicken or rice bowls, etc. I like their fries as well. The double bacon cheeseburger combo is only about $6. If you are a burger fan this is a good choice.
Pizza Pro
Not my most favorite pizza place in Seattle but a good choice for lunch if you are in Pioneer Square. Slices are good sized, very friendly and quick service and the prices are pretty reasonable. They do good business so they must be doing something right.
Cafe Hue
I'm a picky eater so I am always a little leery of Vietnamese food but they were very willing to make my lunch to order and it was delicious. Very nice decor and fast, friendly service. Prices are very reasonable although the portions are not very large. It was not crowded at all, although we did get there at about 1245PM. Highly recommended.
Mae Phim Thai Restaurant
First point - get there early or call ahead for takeout. Very nice portions for very little money. It's very small and they move you in and out very quickly so don't go here for a business lunch or expecting to hang out for an hour. Turn those tables, baby!
Collins Pub
Great pub food, nice atmosphere. People rave about their sweet potatoe fries. I really like the fish and chips and their burgers are very good as well. My buddy thinks the rueben is out of this world. Service is always friendly and attentive. They fill up quickly on Fridays so get their early. It is a little pricey for lunch food but overall a good choice.
Thai Star Restaurant
Big portions for what they charge, I never leave hungry. They are a little inconsistent in their spiciness. You can ask for 1 star hotness and get 3 stars or vice versa. Service is mixed - depending upon who is serving you. Get there early as they fill up very quickly - I recommend 1145AM or wait until 1245PM. Take our is a great option as well if you work close by.
Piecora's New York Pizza
I have been to Piecora's about 50 times and have never once had an issue. I have searched high and low for decent pizza in this town and this is the best that I have found. I have always had friendly service (in fact, they recognize me now and every once in a while comp my lunch!) and the food has been consistently excellent. I've taken groups of 20 people there and they have had no problem seating us and serving us efficiently.
