Grand Lux Cafe

Los Angeles, CA Restaurants 03/12/08: 'Jambalaya is very good'

Jambalaya is very good. Served with white rice. I want some now!Friday and Saturday nights, it's a bit crowded, so it's probably best to go during the week or maybe lunch. Not a good date place. It's kinda loud, but it's a nice place to meet your friends.

Hotcakes Bakes

Los Angeles, CA Bakers & Bakeries 03/12/08: 'Hotcakes is hot!'

Hmm...supermarket birthday cake or Hotcakes? Not a tough choice once you've check this place out. Recently my co-workers and I had the red velvet cake from there and it was delicious! Moist and the frosting was just perfect. Located on a busy street in Del Rey, so it's easy to find.

The Coffee Company

It's a really nice place to have breakfast when you don't know where to go. Their breakfast menu is very good. Waffles, eggs, mmm, biscuits and coffee and much more! Don't let the line that is usually out the door stop you from entering! They have somewhat of a large dining area, so it goes by quickly.

Simply Thai Restaurant

Los Angeles, CA Thai Restaurants 03/12/08: 'Quaint and Simple'

This is a very nice place to have a first date. It's not too busy, it's quite, nicely decorated, courteous service and very good food! The parking might be an issue, but that's a problem everywhere, right? Check it out when you're in the Loz Feliz neighborhood.
