Vca Allen Park Animal Hospital
When my mom left our cocker spaniel to be boarded at VCA, I went to visit her. They put me in a room, and brought my dog to me. She smelled like urine. Along with having poop on her. She was used to being let out only 3 times a day with my mom working. When I asked at the front desk they told me they let them out twice a day. She has never been left there for boarding and never will.
Metro Shores Credit Union
I have used Metro Shores for over 7 years. They are a credit union where they know you by name. I feel better knowing when I call Kim, the manager, with a question, she knows who I am and I am not just another pesty person asking questions. I have had 3 different loans with the bank and have been satisfied with the interest rate I was given. They have programs for the kids, to get them excited with saving money.The tellers always have a smile and are ready to talk while you are there, which some days I need the friendly smile. I can not say enough good things about Metro Shores Credit Union
West Grange Pharmacy
This is a great pharmacy--Jim, Chris, Rachel, and Manda are great I many times have called them with questions while at another drug store closer to home. The staff at West Grange cares about you and gets to know you one on one. I recommend West Grange.
Woodhaven School District
I have daughters in 3 different Woodhaven schools. I feel the teachers, and principals work with the parents. I would recommend Woodhaven schools to everybody. I have children in Yake, Brownstown Middle, and Patrick Henry.
Concord Consumer Housing
I moved in 7 years ago, being a single mom. Now I am married with 6 daughters and still live here. It is nice, maintenance is great, great park. They take Section 8 and other programs. It is on the quieter side, some pets are aloud.
Gorno Ford Incorporated
When we took our van in for warranty work that another auto repair shop came across while doing tires. Gorno informed us that we did not need the new ball joints. So we took it to another auto repair shop to get there option. They also told us we needed new ball joints. We took it back to Gorno and they stated that the other outside companies did not know what they were talking about. I had to get under the van and move the tire to show them that it moved. Gorno said that if we wanted it done they would do it.
Taylor Ford
We bought our van with an extended warranty. The dealer wrote in 108,000 miles. When we told the vehicle in 2 years later we are informed that the warranty is due to expire at 88,000 miles. They altered the warranty contract after it was already signed and did not notify me. The dealership told us for additional $2,500 they would warranty the van to the 108,000 (so in other words pay more to receive what I had agreed that I was getting)
Bella Pizza
Bella's has great pizza usual and unusual. We get the BLT, PB&J, along with the spaghetti and meatball pizza. My kids love it. We drive from Brownstown to Allen Park to get this pizza. The prices are reasonable and they have specials if you purchase more than one pizza. For the 3 largest I have listed above it is less than 25. My daughters ask for Bellas instead of any local pizza places. They also will do special things if you ask. Like I ask for my pizza to be cut into 20 pieces instead of 10. The kids get more variety that way.Try Bellas you wont be sorry.
Frostic Beverly - Lakeside Cosmetic & Family
Dr Horbal and his staff are wonderful. They are very through. My husband and I along with 6 daughters have been going there for 12 years. He is very patient with children. Bev the receptionist is great also. He takes alot of insurances. But when we have been with out insurance his prices have been reasonable. The office is clean, and quiet.
