Elk Grove, CA Nail Salons 03/19/08: 'if you're late, they are not so great'

So I booked an appointment to have my nails done at 12:30, one of the peak traffic times in Elk Grove around this area. So I arrive 5 minutes late due to traffic, and the lady is furious. Though no one was there waiting, I don't see why she had the attitude. So she started off our conversation a bit rude, which lead to me not talking at all. I told her in the beginning when she put one of my nails on before she acryclicized it it was crooked and she didnt fix it!

Shanghai Garden Restaurant

New York, NY Chinese Restaurants 03/15/08: 'Number One Place For Snacking.'

So this is an Asian-like snack bar.
Literally. They range from asian style chips, to drinks and even a few sweets here and there. This is a good rest spot if you're tired from sightseeing. Grab a drink and a snack and enjoy what is around you. If its a beautiful day go outside and lay underneeth a tree the cool breeze will get you going.

New York, NY Chinese Restaurants 03/15/08: 'Touristas this is your place.'

If you want some entertainment for the night, you must come here! I enjoyed myself greatly during dinner and the show. The tickets are a bit pricey, but you get dinner and a transexual show all at the same time.

China 1 Restaurant

New York, NY Chinese Restaurants 03/15/08: 'More like number two.'

While visiting New York last year I stumbled into this place that claimed it was the Number 1 Chinese Take Out. Judging from the chinese food that I ate earlier that day, this place had to be ranked #2. The food was very greasy but tasty, and it was dead inside. You can't be a #1 store with barely anyone present!

Sims Karaoke And Gift Shop

Stockton, CA Gift Shops - Stockton, CA Video Rental 03/15/08: 'If you like to karaoke come in!'

They have what you need. The man that was helping me was hard to understand due to his strong accent. The location wasn't hard to find, but the prices were a bit high.
If my mother didn't need a karaoke machine I wouldn't have bought it for her here. I would've waited to spot a better deal.
They do have many songs to choose from when you purchase a machine :)

Stockton, CA Video Rental 03/15/08: 'Cheap video rentals'

Though they are cheap, they are due the following day and are VERY limited to what they have in stock. Usually they only carry one copy of something, and you'll have to call to be able to get that copy for reserve. They have tons of Asian videos for your liking. Check it out!
This isn't a place to go to if you're looking for a cheaper Blockbuster or Hollywood

Pho Bac Hoa Viet Restaurant

Stockton, CA Vietnamese Restaurants 03/15/08: 'mangolian beef specials!'

You have to come here for the great tasting Chinese/ Vietnamese food. I've been coming here since they opened with my father. Though the prices has gone extremely up, I am still a loyal customer.
The prices jumped $4 within 5 years, which I think is crazy, but it doesn't stop me from purchasing items.

Delta Thrift

Stockton, CA Thrift Shops 03/15/08: 'Second hand, no thanks.'

I came here to shop for costumes during halloween and a majority of the items that were available here, were not in good condition. Their prices were extremely high and there were junk items galore.
I wouldn't recommend this place, even for a thrift shopper.

Food 4 Less

Stockton, CA Grocery Stores 03/15/08: 'Saves money, for you!'

Food 4 Less needs to be available all over! I live in the bay area now, and I really wish we had one there.
Prices for food is always low here, and the quality is the best.
My experience here is a great one everytime, though sometimes they are out on certain items that I come there for, I can't complain.
I would recommend this place to friends if some of them actually bought geroceries for themselves. Many of them are lucky to have their parents purchasing their goods still.

Super King Food Ctr

Stockton, CA Grocery Stores 03/15/08: 'Great local asian market'

There are two Super King locations this one I would say is more in the safer part of Stockton. This store is bigger and better and also has more variety.

I come here to get my oriental necessities such as tempura mix, fish sauces, rice, soy sauce etc at at really cheap price.

Buy these at your normal gerocery and guarenteed you'll be spending more than you want to
