Green Blade Repair Shop Inc
I brought my lawnmower here for service last summer. It was fixed within a week and they replaced only the necessary parts like I asked them to. I liked that they understood that I didn't want to pay extra for cosmetic parts for my lawnmower, because as long as it cuts the grass I don't mind if it looks beat up. Great service, highly recommended.
Freds Auto Body
I brought my car here a few years ago for some minor damage to my bumper. I wasn't charge any storage fee for keeping it on their lot and they even shopped around for some parts at a lower price. They replaced my bumper and with parts and labor I wound up paying around $500, almost $150 less than Macco quoted me.
Soda King
This is the kind of place that's good to run in for a pack of cigarettes, a lotto ticket, and a soda. The guy behind the counter barely speaks English but he tries his best to be polite and crack a joke here and there.
Bumper To Bumper Car Audio
I took my car here to have a sound system put in. I know almost nothing about car audio but I just told them what I wanted to spend and that I wanted the highest sound quality for my money. They showed me what parts they were going to order, said what they did, recommended manufacturers and the work was done by the end of the weekend. Highly recommended.
Grainer Mark Dds
I've been going to this dentist for about 12 years now. He's very friendly and so is his staff. He also has a gentle touch with fillings and cleanings. I've had several fillings and a root canal at his office and I've never felt any significant amount of pain or discomfort.
Old Book Shop of Freehold LLC
Owners are very nice, the place is small and quiet and will have most popular books on hand. Anything more abstract or older that they don't have they will gladly order for you. The prices are slightly higher than larger book chains like Borders and Barnes & Noble, but that's to be expected from a small privately owned store.
Ugly Mug
I eat at this place every time I stay at Mountain Laurel Resort in Lake Harmony because it's only about 10 minutes down the road. It's right near the Jack Frost Big Boulder Ski Area. It's good food with a very diverse menu. There's a well stocked bar, the service has been great every time I've visited and there's even little puzzle games on the table to keep you occupied while you wait for your food.
Tommy's Inn At Millstone
Service and food were both good. It's a pub like atmosphere, not formal. The menu includes anything from burgers and wings to NY Strip steak. Certain days of the week there are also karaoke nights, karaoke and the bar make this place a very fun night out, and there's usually little to no wait to be seated.
Buttonwood Manor
I've never gone to this place just to eat dinner, however I've been to several private family functions here and was always very happy with them. The place itself is beautiful with a great view of the water, and outdoor seating if the weather's nice. The food is delicious and the bartenders are very knowledgeable and know how to make most drinks.
Chapter House
This place has a wide variety of food, from burgers, steaks, seafood, etc. and I've never ordered anything I wasn't satisfied with here. However, there is usually a long wait to get in and once you are seated the service is consistently slower than your average restaurant. Good place if you're not in a rush.
